The National Wrestling Alliance is pleased to announce it will induct Ron Wright and Don Wright into the NWA Hall of Fame. The enshrinement ceremony will take place this Saturday, May 9, at NWA Smoky Mountain’s Collision Course 10 event from the Civic Auditorium (1550 Fort Henry Drive) in Kingsport, TN. The Wright Brothers are the Third Inductee into the NWA Hall of Fame Class of 2015
Ron Wright, who passed away in late April, is arguably the most famous wrestler to come out of Kingsport, TN. He had a famous, long-running and bloody feud with Whitey Caldwell. As a tag team, the Wright brothers enjoyed great success throughout East Tennessee and held the Tennessee Tag Titles on at least 13 occasions. For years, they were the most hated duo in wrestling in that area.
