Sunday January 25th, 2015 will mark the 28th addition of the WWE Royal Rumble PPV event. An event that has a ton of potential in both the Royal Rumble match and the WWE Championship match. With the winner of the Royal Rumble earning a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania a lot is on the line for two wrestlers in particular Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan. One odd thing about this PPV that makes it unique is they’re 4 tag team matches, 1 triple threat match, and a Royal Rumble match which leaves 0 single matches on the card.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods) Vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, and Adam Rose – 6 man Elemination tag team
This match was just announced this past Monday on RAW for the Pre-Show event so don’t expect a long intense matchup, but don’t think it won’t deliver as it should be a good back and forth matchup for a good 10-12 minutes. As much as I would like to see Kidd & Cesaro get that deserving win, I think we all know the WWE will go with the outcome being.
Prediction: The New Day
The Miz & Damien Mizdow Vs. The Usos – WWE Tag Team Championship
This feud has been telling a story for a couple of months now and its been a decent rivalry that’s been developing, but over the course of the past few weeks its grown stale as its pretty much ran its course and with WWE hinting tension between The Miz and Damien Mizdow I just cannot see new WWE Tag Team Champions being crowned tonight. Give them a good 15 minutes and the match should be good for what its worth, but just like The Usos vs. Gold and Stardust this has just become another match between the teams that is rinse and repeat.
Prediction: The Usos
The Ascension Vs. The New Age Outlaws – Tag Team
This match came about after The Outlaws and other legends beat down the Ascension on this past Monday’s RAW. I expect a short match, but I’m very much looking forward to this one as I’m a huge Outlaws fan and a fan of The Ascension. While people are hoping The Ascension are buried for the remarks they’ve made on TV in recent weeks I am hoping and see The Ascension beating The Outlaws starting a legends storyline with past teams over the course of the next few months.
Prediction: The Ascension
Paige & Natalya Vs. The Bella Twins – Tag Team
While Paige and Natalya have formed some sort of alliance over the past few weeks The Bella Twins have had an alliance since 2009 (practically) and with Nikki being Divas Champion in a non-title match on PPV I expect The Bella Twins to pull out the victory in what should be a decent Divas match.
Prediction: The Bella Twins
John Cena Vs. Seth Rollins Vs. (c) Brock Lesnar – Triple Threat for the WWE Championship
The match I’m looking forward to the most is this one! With Seth Rollins being added to the match defiantly upped the feeling with a legitimate chance any of these three can walk out WWE Champion. The question is where will WWE go with this match as they could go with what could be Cena winning the WWE title and Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank on Cena winning the title himself, or we Paul Heyman could turn on Lesnar forming and alliance with Seth Rollins which would result in Rollins walking out champion, but the way I see it going down is Brock Lesnar will walk out the WWE Champion as we head into the Fastlane of WrestleMania season!

Royal Rumble Match
With just hours before the Royal Rumble match rumors are swirling as I type this that The Rock and WWE are in talks to strike a deal that would lead to The Rock to winning the Rumble to pit him against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. Who knows at this point is going to win the Royal Rumble, but the obvious choices are Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, The Rock, and Bray Wyatt. I just cannot see anyone else winning the match unless Brock Lesnar is in it. I’m going with Roman Reigns to win the Royal Rumble even though I hope I’m wrong, but he’s been rumored since WrestleMania 30 that he’s the one that they have picked to win it and carry the company, and as much as they’ve been banking on him in the past few weeks its become somewhat obvious he’s the Golden Child in WWE’s eyes.. That is unless The Rock strikes a deal then my pick is The Great One.
