On Saturday August 9, 2014 World’s Best Wrestling returned to the Hamilton County Fair located in Cincinnati, OH as they presented Midway Mania 2014. What a night of action it was! If you weren’t there here is what you missed……
-Wrestle Ohio opened up the show by stating that The Dirty South had possession of their property, the WBW tag titles. The Mastermind then demanded that The Dirty South come out and hand them over. Dirty South made their way to the ring and Lil C told Wrestle Ohio that the WBW tag titles belonged to them. The Mastermind then demanded that WBW president Dude Rock come to the ring and settle this. Dude Rock said he was settling this once and for all, that there would be a WBW tag title match right now between Dirty South and Wrestle Ohio.
-”Die Hard” Tom McClane & “Mr. Reality Check” Big Jim Hutchinson w/Wrestle Ohio defeated Dirty South to become the 1st ever WBW tag team champions.
-”Second Generation Sensation” Andrew Stryker defeated Grizzly Monsoon in a match that was fought all through the crowd and all over the midway.
-Flash Fury pulled off a huge upset by defeating the monster Kyle Kraven.
-Northern Heritage Champion “Re-Enforcer” Devlin Anderson w/Wrestle Ohio successfully defended his title against Mason Price.
-Kyle Kraven stormed the ring and stated that he felt he was robbed early in the night. Kraven then said he was there to make a statement and demanded that the WBW Top Prospect Andrew Stryker come out. Stryker made his way out and accepted the challenge from Kraven. Kyle Kraven would defeat “Second Generation Sensation” Andrew Stryker. Post match Kraven continued the attack on Stryker as Wrestle Ohio rushed the ring to help beat down Stryker, Mason Price & Flash Fury would come out for the save.
-”Second Generation Sensation” Andrew Stryker, Mason Price & Flash Fury would defeat Kyle Kraven, “Die Hard Tom McClane & “Re-Enforcer” Devlin Anderson w/ Wrestle Ohio. Post match Price and Stryker would stay in the ring and celebrate. Tom McClane, Mastermind & Sara would make their way back out. This led to a dance off between McClane, Price and Stryker. Mastermind finally had enough and got the mic and started bad mouthing Styrker, this led to Stryker hitting Mastermind. Anderson, Hutchinson and Kraven would rush to the ring and beat down Price and Stryker. Dirty South would run out to even up the odds. It was announced that an 8 man tag would take place.
-”Second Generation Sensation” Andrew Stryker, Mason Price & Dirty South defeated Kyle Kraven, “Re-Enforcer” Devlin Anderson, “Die Hard” Tom McClane & “Mr. Reality Check” Big Jim Hutchinson by count out.
