World’s Best Wrestling made it’s debut in Adams County on Saturday Feb 22nd and the Oliver School in West Union, OH as they presented WBW: Winter Heat. The night was full of debuts and hot action. If you weren’t there here is what you missed…….
-Matthew Beha from EYH started the night off with the singing of the National Anthem.
-Randy “The King” Allen w/ Wrestle Ohio defeated Jake Ashworth via pinfall.
-”The Second Generation Sensation” Andrew Stryker defeated Xavier Reynolds in a Top Prospect Match.
-”The Baddest Man Alive” Aaron Williams w/ Wrestle Ohio defeated Mason Price.
-”Your Reality Check’ Big Jim Hutchinson defeated The Punisher Jr. via pinfall. Post match Hutchinson grabbed the mic and showed his dissatisfaction with the competition in WBW and laid down the challenge to anybody in the company. “Relentless” Ron Mathis ran out and attacked Hutchinson from behind.
-”Your Reality Check” Big Jim Hutchinson defeated “Relentless” Ron Mathis via pinfall.
-Flash Fury defeated “Die Hard” Tom McClane w/ Wrestle Ohio via disqualification, Die Hard was forced to defend “Re-Enforcer” Devlin Anderson’s Northern Heritage title by the board of directors. The title did not change hands on the disqualification.
-Zakk Spadez w/ Jeremiah King defeated Duke Beefhammer via pinfall.
-WBW Heavyweight Champion “America’s Best” Jason Legend w/ Wrestle Ohio was set to defend the title against Eclipso. Wrestle Ohio then announced that they had Eclipso fired from the company and that Legend would have the night off. Loony then got in the ring and made the announcement that he knew they had Eclipso fired and he contacted the board of directors and they had the champ a challenger. Loony announced the challenger was The Great American Beast and that the title would be on the line.
-”America’s Best” Jason Legend w/ Wrestle Ohio successfully defended the title against The Great American Beast. Post match other members of Wrestle Ohio began to attack The Great American Beast, when Mason Price, Flash Fury & Jake Ashworth made the save.
-In the main event the turmoil of the night came to a head, a deal was struck for an elimination 8 man tag team match. If Team Wrestle Ohio won, “Loony” Mike Horton would leave WBW forever, if Team WBW won, the winner would earn a WBW Heavyweight title shot.
-Team WBW: Jake Ashworth, Mason Price, Flash Fury, & The Great American Beast took on Team Wrestle Ohio: “The Baddest Man Alive” Aaron Williams, Randy “The King” Allen, “Die Hard” Tom McClane, & WBW Heavyweight Champion “America’s Best” Jason Legend. In the end Jake Ashworth pinned Jason Legend to earn a Heavyweight Title shot.
