Damien Sandow’s music hits and here comes Sandow with a microphone. Sandow states this Sunday at the Royal Rumble is the start to the path that will lead him to the WWE World Heavyweight championship.
Match 1: R-Truth Vs. Damien Sandow – Single
The Miz on commentary is trying to get Xavier Woods to say he’s gonna turn his back on Truth at the Royal Rumble, but Woods denies any of that. Both Truth and Sandow exchanging moves in the ring. Truth connects on a big leg drop. The Miz continues to rage on about Truth and Woods, as Sandow takes over and thumbs the eye. Truth sends Sandow outside the ring, Truth follows behind only for Sandow to run Truth back first into the ring then into the barricade. Damien Sandow looking strong as we head to commercial.
Sandow on the attack with punches and kicks a siuplex followed up by the elbow of distain. Truth moves out of the way causing Sandow to run shoulder first into the ring post. Truth misses the scissors kick which allows Sandow to connect on the education slam for a close two count. Truth kicks out and rolls Sandow up for almost a 3 count. Sandow locks on and finishes his accuse signature. Truth counters out of the full nelson slam spinning Sandow around attempting a jump DDT, but
Sandow holds onto the ropes. Sandow locks on the royal arch a somewhat of an sharpshooter. Truth gets to the ropes, Sandow argues with the ref and Truth rolls him up for a close two. After Sandow kicks out R-Truth jumps up and connects on a driving DDT for the win.
Winner: R-Truth
Xavier Woods holds the hand of R-Truth up in the air.

Match 2: The Bella Twins Nikki & Brie Vs. Alicia Fox & Aksana – Tag Team
Brie Bella and Aksana start the match and it doesn’t take long to get some hair pulling from Brie Bella. Brie hits a dropkick from the 2nd rope. Aksana throws Brie head first into the turnbuckle. Alicia Fox tags in and quickly Brie takes control, but Aksana tags in and grabs Brie before she can make the tag. Double team slam as Alicia Fox tags back into the match. Alicia Fox and Aksana is trying to keep Brie in their corner so she doesn’t make a tag. Brie flips Alicia and makes the tag to Nikki. Nikki Bella cleans house and clotheslines Alicia in the corner. Brie dropkicks Aksana outside the ring. Nikki picks Alicia Fox up in a reverse fireman’s carry then dropping on her knees. She pins Alicia Fox for the win.

Sin Cara makes his way to the ring.
Alberto Del Rio makes his entrance.
Recap of Monday’s confrontation between Batista and Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio on the attack quickly as the match gets underway. Sin Cara does some rolling around. Cara dropkicks Del Rio outside the ring and Sin Cara goes flying onto Del Rio. Back inside the ring Del Rio counters into a suplex and attempts to take the mask of Sin Cara off but fails, Sin Cara goes up high and jumps connecting on an flying arm drag. Del Rio sends Sin Cara into the ring post shoulder first, Cara ends up hitting it flying outside the ring.
Del Rio places Sin Cara on the top rope and takes the mask off, the ref pulls Del Rio back and Cara puts his mask back on, but Del Rio pulls him down leaving Sin Cara hanging upside down in the corner. Del Rio with a running spear misses as Sin Cara pulls himself up at the last second forcing Del Rio shoulder first into the ring post. Sin Cara with a spinning DDT. Sin CAra is rolling with a backwards elbow off the ropes. Del Rio knocks Sin Cara loopy and suplex’s him from the top rope. Sin Cara with a roll up for a close two count. Del Rio hits his signature kick to the head. Sin Cara somehow kicks out at two. Del Rio has lost his cool. Del Rio on the top rope gets punched by Cara, Del Rio retaliates by knocking Cara backwards. Cara hanging upside down allows Del Rio to stomp Cara into the mat. Del Rio locks on the cross-armbreaker and Sin Cara taps.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
(Thoughts: The Sin Cara vs. Alberto Del Rio match was a really fun enjoyable match. Its the match you would expect to see between the two. All in all a good episode of Main Event. Hard to believe it hasn’t gotten the Superstars treatment and hopefully it never does as Main Event is still treated as a big time show and it should be! Thanks for reading!
