Earlier we passed along a report on the passing of pro wrestling legend Mae Young. IWHeadlines prides itself in not reporting rumors without noting that they are rumors. The report we passed along was from pro wrestling journalist Mike Mooneyham who is a very respected and “real” journalist. Mike had what he thought was solid sourcing.
Mike has now issued a retraction citing a incorrect source. Mike is a true journalist and did not hesitate to retract once he found out his source was erroneous. We will keep you updated if an when there are more concrete developments.
Mike’s retraction:
Mae Young has not passed away. The source who reported her passing received incorrect information. Mae is gravely ill, but still alive.
