On again off again WWE star “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson announced via Twitter that he has landed a role with Warner Bros. for a DC Comics movie via his Twitter account today:
We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014 we will partner up and create the cool bad assery. #RockTalk @ActionTilson

As of right now the working titled superman vs. Batman is the only announced film on Warner Bros./DC Comics slate for filming in 2014. With the announcement of a Wonder Woman casting of Gal Gadot for the picture, it could very well be The Rock will be playing an additional hero or villain in the picture. In the past he has also expressed interest in playing Black Adam in the long rumored Captain Marvel/Shazam movie as well.
