According to sources, There is said to be major concern among some of WWE’s midcarders in regards to how the WWE Network will affect their status with the company and their pay.
If the rumors are true, If WWE ends up putting all of their pay-per-views on the Network, or even the bigger events, then a lot of talents could potentially lose out on their pay-per-view bonuses.
William B. West says
This rumor makes no sense. If WWE is putting PPV on the network it is because they believe it will increase revenues by drawing more money via the network, bonuses are paid based on revenues in WWE, if anything talent would be concerned they are going to be bumped into a higher tax bracket.
The people who write these rumors don’t understand how business work.
Joe Vincent says
By the way, imagine this was a TNA story? Meltzer would have already fabricated a conjectured “news” story about WWE being purchased by Ted Turner and the hatermarks would have been sounding the company’s death knell since the minute the “news” hit the interwebs.
William B. West says
Exactly, when TNA went to One Night Only’s it was a cost cutting measure to save the company, when WWE cuts PPV’s it’s business as usual according to the sheets.
