WWE is in the middle of negotiating new TV deals and rights fees as of right now. They hope to have new deals signed by the end of this year or early in 2014.
If they don’t, it will be interesting to see how WWE reacts going into their biggest time of the year (WrestleMania season) with so much uncertainty regarding their TV deals.
WWE makes serious money in their TV rights and it has been reported to be their main focus right now.
With Raw ratings continuing to slip, WWE knows that to get most money out of their TV deals they need for those ratings to go up.
