– The announcement regarding the WrestleMania location for 2015 is expected soon. The decision was reportedly made three or four months ago and could be either Philadelphia or the Santa Clara/San Jose area in California.
– WWE has a new idea, Eva Marie smiling and laughing on her way to the back after her elimination at WWE’s Survivor Series pay-per-view, they are now teaching talents that if they are on the babyface side, when they leave the ring they should smile and engage the fans and play their character, not sell the loss.
Another example of this is on this past week of Raw, AJ Lee lost a tag match but after she got pinned, She got out of the ring and started skipping around the ring.
the one with AJ lee worked, because: 1. they play her as a “crazy” character (as stupid as that sounds, for their most talented female wrestler since the f*cking attitude era) 2. you can explain it as a champion that knows he never loses title-defense matches, but never wins non-title matches. that has been the case with wwe for 2 years now. the champions are jobbers, unless defending their title. she’s just self-aware of it.
but taking a stupid idea from the least human-like person on god’s green earth in this eva marie robot, and applying and teaching it to all other wrestlers, while sh*tting on their whole history in the past and the art of “reacting and selling”, if true (I can’t even believe it’s true! that’s how stupid it sounds…), is the worst idea wwe came up with since they started thinking that “wrestling” is a wrong word to say.
