WWE released Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) from his developmental deal on Friday morning. He was trending worldwide on Twitter Friday night.
He will be at the PWS show on November 16th against Hurricane Helms. Hero has been announced for Pro Wrestling Guerilla’s All Star Weekend in December.
A number of other independent promotions are scrambling to book Hero.
I get a kick out of comments I am reading on the internet. A large percentage are saying he is better off because WWE would have ruined him.
If your profession is a pro wrestler, you cannot be ruined by going to WWE or TNA, it should be the ultimate goal in the profession. Being watched on UHF stations at Ring of Honor and keeping your “character” is not the pinnacle of success.
