WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has yet to return to television because the creative direction has always been for him to return in January 2014.
WWE creative considered at several stages bringing him back early to help boost fledgling ratings during football season, but now that John Cena is back there is talk about sticking with the original plan and keeping McMahon off television for the rest of the year.
