The pro wrestling dirt sheets have been getting their rumors posted as news shot down right and left this week, and the roll continues. The latest sheet rumor is that AJ Styles turned down a WWE contract offer. AJ himself took to Twitter and shot down this “news” story:
Let me clear things up. I haven't talked with wwe. I shouldn't have to tell u this but, don't believe everything u read on the internet.

You really have to feel for the people that fall for these fake news stories by the sheets week in and week out.
The dirt sheets must be panicking right now. “Uh oh! How do we generate more clicks and earn another nickel per 10,000 hits on the website if the wrestlers and promotions keep shooting down the bullshit that we make up?! What happened to the detente of them not talking to us and us creating stories out of plausible conjecture? Where is the dignity of the lie to uphold our huckster business?!?!?”
