There’s some been some odd … Changes on this website of late. There hasn’t been a results article for Impact since September 12th, and I haven’t read any real news about the company here for some time. Recently WWE news has shown up on the “Latest Updates” page.
I’ve been forced to try to find other TNA sites for news, and that means sifting through copy and paste b.s. and douchy articles about how much TNA sucks and blah blah blah just to find the real story buried somewhere.
So what gives? Are there going to be staff BFG predictions? Does this site need columnists? What’s going on?

Hey Dylan,
Over the summer we spent a lot of time behind the scenes merging the old content of TheBalrogsLair.com, TBLWrestling.com, WOWRevolution.com, and XHeadlines.com into the database for TNAStars.com. The ultimate goal was to flip TNAStars.com to IWHeadlines.com and cover more of what is going on in professional wrestling outside of TNA. We largely made that flip back at the beginning of this month, so if you’re still going to TNAStars.com for anything, then you’re not getting the latest news and information that we have to offer. I would update your bookmarks to IWHeadlines.com instead.
Primarily, our intent was to focus on both TNA and the independent wrestling scene (in my view, those are the two most important platforms for professional wrestling since WWE is its own monster). What occurred, though, was that we hired a young man named Andy Ravens whose job is to cover that “other” brand – WWE. Andy’s schedule is different than William’s schedule or my schedule and thus he has a lot more time to put up information about WWE than either of us have to put up about TNA or the independent wrestling scene. That explains the abundance of WWE news on the Latest Updates board and the random nature of what William and I post on TNA and other promotions.
As for the iMPACT Wrestling reports, our last independently prepared report from Jarrett Cox was posted for the August 1st episode of the show. Right around that time, Jarrett began his tenure as a college student and, well, you know how it is in college – your schedule is jam-packed from morning until night. Since August 1st, we’ve been borrowing iMPACT Wrestling results from another website and our last update was for the October 10th episode of the show so I’m not sure why you’ve not seen them since September 12th – they’re on the Latest Updates board.
With respect to the Bound for Glory predictions – yes, we intend to have Staff Predictions posted shortly before show time on Sunday, as is usual from us.
If you, like me, are primarily concerned about the world of TNA, then you can go right to IWHeadlines.com and scroll down about a page. There you’ll find an update cube (and links) 100% dedicated to the coverage of TNA. In fact, if you keep scrolling down on the front page you can find similar cubes for independent wrestling-only news and WWE-only news. We even have an opinions and site updates-only cube way down at the bottom of the front page.
We announced that this change was coming back at the beginning of the summer. The changes were slow at first, but we made the biggest changes during the first few days of October. There will be continued behind the scenes changes and modifications for about a year, but we’ve largely finished the migration and, soon, TBLWrestling.com and TNAStars.com will both forward directly to IWHeadlines.com (many pages on those two websites already automatically forward visitors to the new URL). The transition has definitely not been easy nor has it been a cakewalk (i.e. Google News still lists TNAStars.com, but rejected IWHeadlines.com, which is why the post that we’re commenting on appears on Google News – because I posted it there and then immediately forwarded the link to IWHeadlines.com in an effort to work around Google’s ignorance and inability to change a simple URL in their database).
We welcome any feedback that you – and anyone else reading this – may have about the change and what you’d like to see. For my part, I will continue to not cover WWE news because I don’t care about that promotion. I will continue to cover TNA and independent news because that’s what I really care about. I’d like to get more ROH coverage on the site, too. We’ve had a pretty robust amount of TNA coverage leading into Bound for Glory, so be sure that you check the TNA update cube on the first page where you can link to the entire, TNA-only update list. We look forward to hearing from our trusted readers like you, Dylan.
Thanks!
Joe

Thanks for the detailed response, Joe!
My mistake, evidently, was never reading the big website announcement about the migration. I had no idea that iwheadlines.com existed.
I have been going to the old TNAstars.com address, which does not include many of the updates Iwheadlines.com includes. The last Impact show results accessible on the main page on TNAstars.com is from September, and because of the many non-TNA updates on the “Latest Updates” section it was hard to see that there had been new content.
Anyway I’ve updated my bookmark : )
One thing I like to read (and enjoyed about Jarrett’s reports) is a little bit of opinion thrown in with weekly results. Whether after each segment in the night, or at the end, it’s interesting to read a columnist’s perspective on how the show went, pros and cons, etc. I think it opens up discussion, and since I usually catch the show each week, it’s my only motivation for reading Impact results.
Glad the site is in fact alive and well!
