A fundraiser featuring professional wrestlers is scheduled for Oct. 26 at the Long Hill Township Community Center.
Expected to wrestle at the event are WWE wrestlers, The Patriot, Sinister Sal Sincere and Rikishi, according to a press release about the event, which also said that attendees will have opportunities to get photos and autographs with the wrestlers.
“You’ve seen them wrestling on television, at Wrestlemania, and now they are here locally for you to meet, greet and watch in action,” said Al LiCata executive director of the Chamber.
Also scheduled to appear are FWF Tag Team wrestlers Right to Party, Two Rude Dudes, Lightning Bolt Johnson, Damien Darling, Fast Eddie Franken, JD Smoothie, and others, the release said.
In a special “Taking Out The Trash Match,” North Plainfield native, The Cannonball will face Stylin Brandon Kirk. The loser gets “tossed into the trash” in a special match sponsored by Kohler Waste Services. In another sponsored related event, Rikishi will arrive in a Brand New Fiat sponsored by Fullerton Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Fiat.
The event, which is being held by the Bernards Township Regional Chamber Of Commerce, The Bernardsville Columbus Club, and the Long Hill Police Benevolent Association, is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

“It’s our goal to use proceeds of these events to begin offering scholarship to graduating Bernards High and Ridge High Seniors as the pro wrestling events become more and more popular,” said Columbus Club President Scott deVillers.
