A few days ago former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Ken Anderson was a guest on the 4th and Pain Radio Show. While he was on the show, he set the rumors straight regarding the interwebs and their ignorant assumptions that he was gone from iMPACT Wrestling for good. From Mr. Anderson’s own mouth:
“Currently, my contract with TNA expired as of Friday of last week. We’re just negotiating right now. I’m hoping and assuming that we’re going to come to an agreement relatively soon and I’ll be back on Thursday nights. I have no intentions of not being with TNA. I enjoy my time with TNA and I think that it’s a really good time for the company right now. I’m really exciting by some of the changes going on right now and some of the changes that are taking place. I’ve been pretty happy with, creatively, the direction I’ve gone in the last month or so. I’m looking forward to coming back…I’d like to come back and hopefully pick up where I left off (with Bully Ray). It’s the legal stuff and I have my agent and my lawyer dealing with stuff. I’m sitting back here trying to enjoy some time off and not get too stressed out about things.”
You may recall a few weeks ago when Mr. Anderson was defeated by Bully Ray on iMPACT Wrestling. Many rumor mongers and conjecturists on the interwebs made up a false “news story” about Anderson being gone from the promotion after his match with Ray. Further, some extreme conjecturists made up the idea that Anderson (and others in TNA) are not happy with the roster reduction. As you’ll note in the quote above and the video below, the truth about Mr. Anderson couldn’t be further from the truth.
With apologies to the TNA hatemongers on the interwebs – it looks like everything is going well in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
