Opening Segment
We get started with a video package showing highlights from this past Monday’s RAW featuring CM Punk, Curtis Axel, and Paul Heyman.
Curtis Axel’s music hits and here comes the Intercontinental Champion. Josh Mathews and Alex Riley are on commentary welcoming us to the show, also discussing Paul Heyman. Cody Rhodes is out next.
Match 1: Curtis Axel Vs. Cody Rhodes – Single
Both men trying to one up each other early to start the match. Axel with a shoulder drop, but Rhodes comes back with a fireman’s carry. Both men lock up once again. Axel trips up the legs of Cody. Cody reverses Axel into an arm submission hold. Axel gets to his feet, but is tripped up by Rhodes. Axel rolls out of the ring and begins discussing with Paul Heyman. Back in the ring both men lock up for a third time in this match, Axel corners Rhodes. Axel rolled up for a one count after a miss run in the corner at Cody. Axel starts to work the body of Cody with punches and kicks to the back and side. Cody Rhodes knocked outside the ring, both men brawling outside the ring. Axel throws Rhodes into the barricade.
Powerful suplex for a one count by Curtis Axel, Axel locks on the neck hold. Two clotheslines forcing Cody to roll onto the ring apron. Rhodes on the top rope only for Axel to grab the arm and pull Cody off, Axel pushes Cody off the ropes into a dropkick for a two count. Multiple elbows to the head of Cody, Axel pulls Cody into the corner stomach first. Axel with a bodyslam followed up by classic move The Axel from the middle rope. Axel back to the neck hold grounding Cody Rhodes, Cody gets to his feet and starts to fight back. Rhodes throws punches, but Axel clothesline to the back of the head. Curtis Axel attempts his neck breaker signature move, but Cody stays on his feet. Cody gets his feet up in the corner setting for and connecting with the flying moonsault. Axel thrown out of the ring, Axel knocked down with several clotheslines and Cody connects with a classic Goldust slap to the face and kick to the stomach. Cody reverses into an Alabama Slam! Close two count for Cody Rhodes. Match pace slows down. Rhodes perfectly executes the Musclebuster. Curtis Axel fights back in the match hitting the modified neck breaker finisher for the win.

Prime Time Players make their entrance. The Real Americans make their entrance next with no promo from Zeb Coulter.
Match 2: Darren Young & Titus O’Neil (The Prime Time Players) Vs. Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro (The Real Americans) – Tag Team
Antonio Cesaro and Darren Young start the match. Young with a clothesline and quick cover tagging in The Real Deal Titus O’Neil. Young thrown by O’Neil into Cesaro, O’Neil with a bodyslam tagging Young back in. Cesaro throws Young into the corner causing Young to go over the ropes onto outside the ring. Swagger tags in. Vicious running clothesline outside the ring connecting by Jack Swagger, Darren Young rolls Swagger up for two, Cesaro tags back in as Young is cornered. Swagger nails his running Swagger bomb on Darren Young, then Cesaro leap frogs over Swagger hitting a foot stomp. Hip toss by Cesaro. Double team throw down by Cesaro and Swagger. Cesaro gets a two count before O’Neil breaks the pin up. Darren Young fights back getting to the tag, O’Neil in off the tag and he’s going fast and hitting hard, clothesline after clothesline. O’Neil with the boot to the head, Cesaro causes a distraction leading to a Swagger take down on O’Neil. Swagger gets a close two count before Young breaks up the count. Cesaro and the ref argue, as Titus O’Neil hits the power slam on Swagger. The ref counts to
three as Antonio Cesaro didn’t make it in time to break up the pin.

Match 3: Kofi Kingston Vs. Fandango – Single
Kofi Kingston tries locking on an arm hold but Fandango gets to the ropes. Roll up pin by Kofi Kingston for two. Shoulder drop by Fandango. Off the ropes into a flying elbow from Kofi Kingston, Fandango monkeyflips Kofi, but Kofi lands on his feet leading to him hitting a monkeyflip of his own, Fandango on the ring apron gets his feet pulled out from under him causing him to hit his head on the outside of the ring. Kofi Kingston leaps off the ropes onto Fandango for a cross body. Summer Rae looking to get involved only distracts Kofi. Fandango crawls onto the outside ring apron on the other side of the ring. Fandango uses the ropes to his advantage to pull the arm of Kofi Kingston. Kofi throws Kofi into the ring post shoulder first. Fandango celebrates as we head to the final commercial break of the night.
Fandango in control, but Kofi fighting back with a pin attempt, but Fandango catches himself as he begins to work the arm of Kingston. Fandango throwing Kofi around by the arm, Kofi fights back with kicks. Fandango with a kick to knock Kofi back down for a two count, back to the arm submission hold, Fandango working the arm, Kofi Kingston with his slap to the chest, clothesline, dropkick, BOOM BOOM BOOM signature moves. Kofi Kingston setting up for his Trouble In Paradise, but Summer Rae grabs the leg of Kofi. The ref calls for the bell.
Winner: Kofi Kinston – Via Disqualification
Fandango rolls out of the ring and leaves arguing with Summer Rae. Replays of the match are shown. Kofi Kingston continues to celebrate in the ring as that does it for this episode of Main Event.
