A lot of dirt sheets are working hard trying to discredit Eric Bischoff’s take down of false claims of heat between Hogan and TNA over Hogan working out a deal with WWE2K14.
The sheets are posting an interview with Cory Ledesma, creative Director for the WWE2K14 with the misleading headlines stating he mentions negotiating with Hogan. Here is an excerpt of what he said in regards to Hogan as well as the video, at no time does he mention getting a deal with Hogan.
“The first hurdle we had was Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan is not currently with the WWE. We knew that if we couldn’t get Hulk Hogan we weren’t going to have a 30 years of Wreslemania mode. It’s just not possible. Hogan was involved in so many matches and so many moments that he was critical to the game. We knew once we could overcome that hurdle and Hulk Hogan was able to get into the game, we knew it was going to be down hill from there. We knew we were going to be able to secure a lot more talent that might not be with the WWE any more.”
Once again – just another example that most of the “journalists” on these dirt sheet websites have no idea what any of what they’re hearing means. They’re the worst type of new “journalists” – the type who hear something, mix it with their own bias, and then try to figure out a way to spin the headline in favor of their bias. It’s pathetic.
