Alberto Del Rio’s music hits and here comes the two time World Heavyweight champion Alberto Del Rio. The Miz hypes Summerslam on commentary. Cody Rhodes is out next to face Del Rio.
Match 1: Alberto Del Rio Vs. Cody Rhodes – Single
Lock up to start the match, but nothing comes about it. Both men try to outdo each other and take control early. Del Rio attempts the cross arm breaker early, but lands on his feet. Cody gets put in a headlock for about 30 seconds plus, but finally gets out of it after giving a backdrop to Del Rio followed up by a drop kick. Del Rio reverses Cody into a backbreaker. Cody Rhodes hits a springboard drop kick, followed up by a classic Goldust slap to the face. Del Rio holding onto the ropes is picked up and is kicked directly in the groin/stomach. Del Rio tries a couple of moves, but Cody reverses out of them hitting the disaster kick. Del Rio rolls out of the ring.
Del Rio using the ropes on the arm of Cody Rhodes, outside the ring now, Del Rio throws Cody into the barricade several times. Cody in the corner tries to kick his way out, but Del Rio nails a few shoulders to the stomach. Cody hanging upside down in the corner is met with a kick from Del Rio. Both men on the top rope, Cody knock’s Del Rio off and hits a moonsault on Del Rio. Cody covers for a two count after a knee. Cody attempts Cross-Rhodes but Del Rio throws him into the corner nailing Cody with a kick to the head. Del Rio gets the cross arm breaker locked in using the ropes. He lets go of the hold before the ref counts 5. Del Rio covers Cody for a very close two count. Del Rio attacking the arm of Cody Rhodes, Del Rio with a German suplex pin only for Cody to kick out at two. Del Rio exposes his knee and goes for the super kick to the head of Cody. Del Rio misses leading to Cody hitting Cross-Rhodes. Both men are down as the ref counts to 8 before Cody Rhodes gets to his feet. Del Rio trips Cody up into the turnbuckle. Del Rio puts on the cross arm breaker, but Cody is trying to hold onto Del Rios arm. Del Rio finally locks in the arm breaker and Cody Rhodes taps out.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio

Match 2: Jimmy & Jey (The Usos) Vs. Heath Slater & Drew McIntyre (3MB)
Jey Uso and Heath Slater starts the match. Heath Slater taunts to begin the match. Slater with a neck hold followed up by a shoulder drop gets things going, but quickly Jey clotheslines Slater then tags in Jimmy Uso. Double team to Slater, Slater gets his leg up. Jimmy Uso now down as Drew McIntyre tags into the match. McIntyre kicks the leg of Jimmy Uso as Slater held it. Jimmy Uso crawls under McIntyre to tag in Jey Uso. Jey Uso hits a springboard for a cover. McIntyre kicks out at two. Jey on fire with a series of clotheslines, McIntyre charges at Jey Uso, but is thrown over the top rope being caught by Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal.
Heath Slater stomping away in the corner on Jimmy Uso. Drew McIntyre tags in. Jey Uso tags in next. Jey Uso flying off the tag knocks McIntyre down. Arm hold locked on Drew as Jimmy Uso tags back in. On the apron Jimmy Uso kicks Slater in the stomach, but is met with a big boot from Drew. Slater tags in and immediately goes to work outside the ring on Jimmy Uso using the ring and barricades to attack the back of Jimmy. Slater hits the glancing blow on Jimmy Uso. Drew McIntyre tags back into the match. Drew with punches and kicks to Jimmy in the corner, Drew distracts the ref as Jinder Mahal interferes and punches Jimmy Uso. Heath Slater tags in and gets a close two count. Back to the tag as Drew is back in the match. Drew McIntyre back dropped by Jimmy Uso. Both guys make the hot tag bringing in Heath Slater and Jey Uso. Jey Uso with slaps, clotheslines, and shoulder drops. Slater in the corner gets hit with the running hip attack. Drew McIntyre breaks up the two count then is thrown out of the ring. Jimmy Uso tags in but first Jey Uso supper kicks Slater. Jey Uso goes flying out of the ring onto McIntyre and Mahal. Jimmy Uso hits the diving splash to pick up the win.
Winners: Jimmy & Jey (The Usos)

Big E Langston makes his entrance. AJ Lee skips down and sets on the ring looking crazed.
Back from commercial and Justin Gabriel is already in the ring.
Match 3: Big E Langston Vs. Justin Gabriel – Single
Big E Langston attacks and grounds Gabriel. Gabriel hits a drop kick, but is power slammed on his next move. Big E with the huge splash covers Gabriel, but Gabriel kicks out at two. Once again going to the ground and submission attack does Big E Langston. Gabriel fights back with punches. Big E Langston catches Gabriel hitting the belly to belly suplex covering Gabriel for a count of two. Big E Langston throws Gabriel’s back on his knee three times. Big E attempts the splash once again only for Gabriel to move out of the way this time. Gabriel rolls Big E up for barley a one count. A few kicks to the sides of the legs of Langston gets Gabriel going. Gabriel off the top rope is caught Langston tries for his finisher only for Gabriel to reverse it bringing the big guy down. Gabriel lands Langston with one of the smoothest best possible moonsaults from the top rope someone can have. Big E with the powerful knockdown, Langston picks Gabriel up and hits his finisher for the three.
