All-star pro wrestling returns on 7:45 p.m. Aug. 9 at Holy Trinity Church, 408 Prospect St., Long Branch. Partial proceeds will benefit The Valerie Fund, which supports health care for children with cancer and blood disorders.
Headliners will include “Jersey Shore” Robbie E and hardcore icon John “Balls” Mahoney. The show will also feature favorite Funkdafied Wrestling Federation (FWF) stars, including The Atomic Dog, tag-team champions The 2 Rude Dudes (“Corrupted” Corey Havoc and “Rampage” Rogers), Big Jeff Noyze, “Mr. Entertainment” J.D. Smoothie and T.N.T. There will be a “Long Branch Doors, Ladders and Chairs Match” for the FWF cruiserweight title, where fans will pick the challengers.
