Twitter has been a source of various industry opinions about the release of Bruce Prichard. Bruce’s brother Tom and Eric Bischoff both weighed in on the announcement via the social site.
Eric Bischoff:
Been a tough, productive week. Great team work netted a great Impact on Spike Thursday. I'm going to miss working with Bruce Pritchard…
— Eric Bischoff (@EBischoff) July 20, 2013
Bruce has been a key player at the Big Show and knows the business. But I respect the fact that he puts family first.

Tom Prichard also had a big back and forth with a fan, Tom seemingly blaming Dixie for the ratings fall and the fan pointing out they were better when Russo was there:
@drtomprichard They are about as clueless as your brother who destroyed TNA and literally slashed the TNA viewership in half. #clueless

@drtomprichard Maybe it was the Clair Lynch story that did him in #RussoWannabe

@drtomprichard Hard to tell. There was this portly man with a red face blocking the view. He kept screaming "GUTCHECK!" at vanilla midgets

@retrogamingfan Maybe u should get help for your anger issues.

@retrogamingfan U have NO IDEA what you're talking about. U give the internet a bad name…
— Tom Prichard (@drtomprichard) July 19, 2013
@retrogamingfan TNA Sucked long before the current ppl took over. They might wanna start at the top and work their way down #Dixie

Joe Vincent says
Tom Prichard has some set of balls suggesting that Dixie needs to go. He has no f’ing idea what she’s trying to build in TNA. This isn’t supposed to be WCW Lite or WWE, Jr. This is a different type of company that is not only beating the major wrestling competition around the globe (including WWE in major foreign markets), but it’s meant to be a light, versatile domestic product.
Seems like Dr. Tom doesn’t “get it.”
