Several hours ago on Twitter, former NWA:TNA World Tag Team Champion and iMPACT Wrestling Road Agent D’Lo Brown confirmed that he was no longer a member of the company. In his update, Brown commented that he considered himself lucky to work so closely with the up and coming talent in professional wrestling.
He also commented that he will miss sharing a locker room with some of the most genuine men and women in the professional wrestling business.
Brown’s release comes on the heels of other big name releases including Tara and Matt Morgan. There are rumors swirling around the interwebs that Senior Vice President of Programming and Talent Relations Bruce Prichard was also released, but we have no independent confirmation of that rumor and, frankly, a few of the sites that are posting that information deal heavily in conjecture and half-truths.
We’ll post more information on Prichard as we can confirm it.
Here is the exact tweet as it appeared through the TwitLonger service:
I guess it’s time to address the rumors surrounding me over the last few days. It is true that my employment with TNA has come to an end. I consider myself fortunate to have worked so closely with some of the best up and coming talent in the business. I also had the privilege to work closely with some of the greatest this industry has produced.
I can tell you this for sure I will miss sharing a locker room with some of the most genuine men and women (you know who you are) that I have ever been around.
I want to say thank you to the many fans that have shown support for me over the years.
I will keep everyone updated on what my future plans are.

I wish Brown the best of luck. It’s not easy to be a 40+ year old wrestler looking for work out there, but I’m sure D’Lo will wind up just fine.
