On last night’s episode of iMPACT Wrestling, Chris Sabin regained the TNA X-Division Championship from Austin Aries and the newly-renamed Manik (formerly known as Suicide).
In a match that raised the bar for the Thursday night program, Sabin took Aries to the limit as the Main Event Mafia kept the Aces and 8s at bay after they took out Manik from the match.
Sabin picked up the victory and regained the championship after a hotly contested battle that had the fans in Las Vegas chanting “This is awesome!” and “TNA! TNA! TNA!” As the show came to an end, Sabin warned Bully Ray (who was sitting at ringside) that he might just be looking at the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion!
