Opening Segment
After the standard recap video, we are (not so live) in Las Vegas for Impact!
Inside the Orleans Arena, the NEW X Division Champion Austin Aries comes out to address the fans. Aries states that some people love him, and some people love to boo me, but now you have to respect him. Aries says that he outsmarted people and created a buzz around Impact Wrestling. He created Option C last year, and last year he won the World Championship. Aries announces that he’s going to cash the X Division Championship at Destination X on Spike TV and calls out Hulk to make this official right now. Hulk obliges and comes out. Hulk informs everyone that he is the X Division Champion, “he took everything to a brand new high, and he took it to a brand new low.” Hulk called with Aries did a sin, and calls what he did Gimmick Infringement, to which Aries replies “I don’t steal gimmicks brother.” Hulk announces that Option C is going to happen at the end of the night. The reason is that the X Division Championship will be defended tonight against TJ Perkins (who Hulk Hogan renamed Manik) and Chris Sabin. “Manik” has the same suit that he wore as Suicide without any writing. Sabin calls Aries “The Greatest Scam that Ever lived” and says that he will be the X Division Champion again.
Backstage, the cameraman barges into the Bad Influence locker room. Daniels asks them what they want, and the guy wants Kazarian. Kazarian says that no one knows AJ better than them.

Backstage Chavo Guerrero is hyping up Hernandez, telling him he is a seven time tag team champion, but never been the World Champion and that he would be in his corner tonight.
Inside the ring, Mickie James is in the ring with a ladder. James tells everyone that they must be wondering what she is doing with the ladder. Mickie tells everyone a little story. To get to the top of the Knockouts Division, you have to crawl, scratch and fight to get there. Mickie hypes her own accomplishments including being a spokeswoman for Dr. Pepper, being a country music star and the Knockouts Champion. Despite all that, all she hears is the ladder match between Taryn and Gail Kim. Mickie tells them to break everything, but they’ll never be as great as her. Whoever wins, will be knocked off the ladder and have their head bashed on every rung on the way down.
((Jarrett’s Jab – Mickie James’ new character is one of the highlights of TNA. I haven’t been this entertained with Mickie since she did her psycho character back in 2006. It’s a fresh breath of air for James and for the Knockouts division. Now that Velvet is out of the title picture, hopefully a fresh face can help and have a great program with the Knockouts Champion.))

The Main Event Mafia is shown arriving at the arena. Kurt Angle says that we’ll find out who the fourth member is later on tonight.
Bound For Glory Series: Jay Bradley (0 Points) vs. Hernandez (0 Points)
Bradley uses his size advantage to take advantage, trading shoulderblocks before Bradley gets the advantage by taking out the leg. Bradley uses a rear chinlock to ground Hernandez before tossing him out to the ramp. Hernandez hits Air Mexico and then a charging clothesline in the corner and an over the shoulder backbreaker for two. Bradley rakes to the eyes, hits a backbreaker of his own. Chavo grabs Bradley’s leg before he can hit the Boomstick and Hernandez hits the POUNNNCEEEEE for the win and the seven points.
Winner by Pinfall, gaining 7 Points: Hernandez (7 Points)
((Jarrett’s Jab – Chavo is now a heel? I wonder if he can play a heel without relying on Eddie for a reaction. The match was what it was. And Bradley is the only Gut Check winner other than Wes Brisco that is currently on TV. That’s sad, isn’t it.))
Backstage Bully Ray states that he’s got to hand it to Aries for finding a way into the title picture, but the winner of tonight’s match gets to face him for the title. DOC asks Bully’s preference and Bully states that it would be great if no one was able to face him. The group toasts to that.

((Jarrett’s Jab – Gunner and Storm are showing great teamwork in their first tag match since Slammiversary, and the BroMans could be a great comedic heel team.))

Jeff Hardy says that Joesph Park is impressive, and if he has Abyss’s dark side, he will be dangerous.
The Main Event Mafia comes out to the ring with their original music (not the remix they’ve used the past two weeks.) Kurt Angle announces that the Main Event Mafia is back and they are back for two reasons: to destroy Aces and Eights and to make sure Bully Ray loses the World Title. Sting yells and tells the fans that the previous Main Event Mafia had all former World Champions, but they wanted to do something different and introduce Samoa Joe (who ironically is a former World Heavyweight Champion). Joe comes out to his own music and in a suit. Joe hugs Angle and Sting before telling everyone in Sin City that once again, the Mafia runs this two. For the past twelve months, he’s been on his own. He’s noticed there have been a strength in numbers (referring to the “cowards” in Aces and Eights) and that even he can’t beat up that many cowards. He announces that he will win the BFG Series and choke out Bully Ray to win the World Championship. Angle proudly declares that he picked Joe because all the matches they had, respect turned into loyalty “plus he’s the baddest SOB I’ve ever been in the ring with.” Angle states that Joe gave him the idea of the fourth member, “the here and now of Impact Wrestling” Magnus. Magnus comes out to his own music in a suit. Magnus bows down before getting in the ring and hugs the other three members. “What’s the requirement to get in the new Mafia, look good on GQ?” Magnus tells everyone that when he was approached to be in the most prestigious group in wrestling, he had to think for only a split second before accepting. Magnus touts that he is at the top of the Bound for Glory leaderboard and goes on to hype up the other three mafia members. Sting assures everyone that tonight, there will be a winner in the main event.
((Jarrett’s Jab – Magnus gets a big boost for being involved in the Main Event Mafia. And apparently only the fans can remember Joe was a member of the original Main Event Mafia and a former World Champion.))

Winner by Disqualification, Gaining 3 Points: Jeff Hardy (10 Points)
Ryan Howe is shown backstage, he will find out his fate…NEXT!
((Jarrett’s Jab – I enjoyed that match a whole lot more than I thought I would, and all of the credit goes to Joseph Park. After Jerry Lynn kept getting RVD disqualified in 2011, we haven’t really seen a story in the BFG Series involving the disqualification’s and this should be an interesting use of Park for the summer.))
-Commercial Break-
It’s Gut Check time. Howe says that he gave his best effort. Al Snow states that he gave Howe this Gut Check opportunity, praises his musical ability, and says no. Howe gets the chance to “Kickout.” Howe says that it takes a lot of years to become a pro wrestler, and him being in this ring shows that he’s doing something. Danny Davis says that his mind was made up when he came out there, but the fans changed it. He didn’t get flustered when the fans were booing the hell out of him, so Davis’ answer is yes. Prichard says no.
Backstage, Bully Ray tells the club it’s time to watch nobody win. DOC asks about the Mafia’s challenge and states that he can take them all out single handedly. Anderson asks DOC if he’s running for governor. Anderson states that there will be a vote next week, and whoever wins will be the VP. Bully tells the two if they spent as much time trying to take out the Main Event Mafia as they have finding new ways to stab each other in the back, the Mafia would have been taken care of already.

((Jarrett’s Jab – A win-win for TNA. Sabin got a huge win against a former World Champion and the Suicide character is dead. Wish they let TJ Perkins be TJ Perkins since they already showed who he was, but you win some and you lose some.))
