Moments ago on tonight’s episode of iMPACT Wrestling, Kurt Angle revealed that the newest member of Sting’s new Main Event Mafia is none other than former TNA World Tag Team Champion Brutus Magnus! After making his way to the ring, Magnus declared that he bought into the mission of the Main Event Mafia to eliminate Bully Ray and the Aces and 8s. He also mentioned that he accepted the invitation to join the new Main Event Mafia because he seizes opportunities when they are presented to him. As an example, he commented that he is currently on top of the Bound for Glory Series.
In a bit of a real moment, Magnus thanked Samoa Joe for being his partner last year and then feuding with him because it helped elevate him as a performer and increase his name recognition. To end the segment, Sting guaranteed that the Aces and 8s would not interfere with tonight’s big, three-way main event for the TNA X-Division Championship.
