If Sting Loses, He Can Never Challenge for The World Title Again
Sting vs. Bully Ray
Andy’s Thoughts: Once again Sting is in the main event fighting for a world title, anyone else sick of these? Sting is good for the world of pro wrestling & TNA. He can do a lot of good things for TNA but how does it help that a 54 Year old guy in the main event? Everything has been built for Sting to go over in a Wrestling Booking 101 class but in this case just the way they have built up Ray & future plans leads me to believe he will retain. Major swerve for non-internet fans.
Andy’s Prediction: Ray (C)
Jarrett’s Thoughts: TNA has hit a homerun with this Pay-Per-View. Despite some of the arguements I make in my thoughts, every single match on this show serves a purpose and has great build to it. This is the first time in a long time I can remember that on a Wrestling Pay-Per-View. TNA has tried their hardest to make this match as big as possible. I still don’t like Sting challenging for the World Title in 2013, as I still feel he would be more useful to TNA as a special attraction wrestler or a GM. Bully has to get the win tonight or everything he’s done to try and ressurect Aces and Eights will be in vain. Oh, and Brooke Hogan will turn to the dark side.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Bully Ray retains the World Title
Joe’s Thoughts: There is going to be a dirty ending for this match and I think it’s going to push Bully Ray to the championship. I don’t think Sting cares about being a potential 15-time champion as that hasn’t really been the focus of this feud. Could this be where Brooke Hogan takes the Stephanie McMahon turn and goes bad? It would be the ideal setting…
Joe’s Prediction: Bully Ray
Scott’s Thoughts: Not expecting a technical classic but should be an entertaining bout. I sense Brooke screwing Sting here. Not a bad thing though as I never want to see a 54 year old in a championship match again anyway.
Scott’s Prediction: Bully Ray
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Bully Ray
TNA World Tag Team Championship
Elimination Match
Bad Influence vs. Austin Aries & Bobby Roode vs.
James Storm & Gunner vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez
Andy’s Thoughts: We’ve seen this once or twice but now they add a fourth team with Storm & gunner. Guerrero & Big Hern have done a good job in the role they are but i hate to think what we might have to sit through if they lose & break up. Bad Influence might get it done here but very unlikely just because if they don’t win they can carry themselves in a cocky way & back it up. Roode & Aries need to be in a bigger role than this. Roode is a world champion use him!
Andy’s Prediction: Guerrero & Hernandez
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I’m not exactly expecting much from this match. I personally find it too crowded. I hope that after this match Chavo and Hernandez breaks up. They’ve been the tag champs for a while and not only are they not getting any spotlight, they’re not attempting to do anything to get a spotlight. It’s hard to predict because I could see arguments for Bad Influence, the Dirty Heels, or Storm and Gunner. But since Storm still might not be 100%, that’s why I’m making my prediction.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Bad Influence become Three Time World Tag Team Champions…OF THE WORLD!
Joe’s Thoughts: Oh boy… So many tag teams and only one winner can emerge. For some reason I feel like James Storm and Gunner were going to get the rub, but with Storm’s injury that might be sidetracked. Then it comes down to whether Dirty Heels or Bad Influence should take the straps (I don’t think Guerrero and Hernandez are winning the match). Between the Dirty Heels and Bad Influence, I have to go with Bad Influence.
Joe’s Prediction: Bad Influence
Scott’s Thoughts: A sure fire show stealer. Lots of high impact moves, near falls and “wow” moments.
Scott’s Prediction: James Storm and Gunner
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Austin Aries & Bobby Roode
Andy’s Thoughts: A fun match that should have a surprise winner but the champion retains in this one.
Andy’s Prediction: King
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Suicide is seriously a waste of a spot in this match. Can’t they let TJ Perkins be TJ Perkins? And how exactly do the eliminations in this match work? It’s not about pinfalls or submissions you have to grab an X. I hope they address that on the Pay-Per-View. Despite that, if Sabin doesn’t win this match tonight, TNA creative are dumber than I thought.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Sabin becomes a 5 time X Division Champion
Joe’s Thoughts: The team at TNA put a lot of promotion into the in-ring return of Chris Sabin. He also received a nice online push by the promotion after he returned. I don’t know why they would put that emphasis on him and have it not pay off.
Joe’s Prediction: Chris Sabin
Scott’s Thoughts: Looking forward to seeing Sabin and Suicide back on PPV. Sabin winning would be a great story.
Scott’s Prediction: Sabin
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Suicide
TNA Television Championship
Joseph Park, Esq. vs. Devon
Andy’s Thoughts: No surprise here as it will be a totally beat down.
Andy’s Prediction: Devon Retains
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Why have a Television Championship that is never defended on TV, or barely defended at all. Joseph Park is actually one of my favorite acts on TNA. I’d rather have him around than the one-note Abyss, so I’m hoping they can drag out Park on TV as long as they can.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Park wins the Television Championship
Joe’s Thoughts: I’m interested to see how they integrate Abyss into the match when his “brother” is going to be the one in the ring. I think it’s time for the TNA Television Championship to get off of Devon’s waist.
Joe’s Prediction: Joseph Park, Esq.
Scott’s Thoughts: Another filler match for me. Abyss should show up one way or another.
Scott’s Prediction: Joseph Park
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Devon
Andy’s Thoughts: A match that will have a decent quality but at the end of the day Terrell will get her revenge.
Andy’s Prediction: Terrell
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Last Knockout Standing match. Gail Kim in the past few years in TNA has shown how big of an asset she still is in wrestling. Taryn Terrell is a newcomer in TNA, a very smoking hot newcomer. (Sorry, I had to say that.) With Gail’s work ethic and Taryn being a newcomer to TNA, I really do expect for these two knockouts to try and steal the show tonight.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Taryn is the last Knockout Standing.
Joe’s Thoughts: Is there a valid reason why the TNA Knockouts Championship isn’t being defended tonight? Take Taryn out, put Mickie James in, and let her and Gail Kim tear the house down!
Joe’s Prediction: Gail Kim
Scott’s Thoughts: Taryn is way too green to be on PPV but Kim will get a decent match out of her opponent and should take the loss for the right reasons.
Scott’s Prediction: Taryn Terrell
William’s Thoughts:

Bound for Glory Series Qualifying Match
Jay Bradley vs. Sam Shaw
Andy’s Thoughts: Does anyone care?
Andy’s Prediction: Sam Shaw
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I’ve seen Shaw wrestle live. I’ve also seen Alex Siva wrestle live. Why Alex Siva isn’t in this match (beside the travel difficulties last week) is beyond me. Silva is an incredible wrestler and personality that would be a great fit in TNA right now if the show wasn’t so heel heavy. Bradley has to win this match, it makes no sense any other way.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Jay Bradley qualifies for the Bound for Glory Series
Joe’s Thoughts: I, uhhh… I don’t know these guys. I remember watching Sam Shaw’s Gut Check segment last year and thinking, “I think I could like this guy,” so I’ll go with him.
Joe’s Prediction: Sam Shaw
Scott’s Thoughts: Good to see fresh faces but not sure a PPV is an ideal place to have them meet.
Scott’s Prediction: Jay Bradley
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Jay Bradley
AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle
Andy’s Thoughts: A toss up for the winner. If Angle wins then where do they go with the Styles storyline, but if AJ wins – which is most likely – he can still have momentum in the feud with Aces & Eights.
Andy’s Prediction: AJ
Jarrett’s Thoughts: This won’t be the technical masterpiece that the two had at Slammiversary back in 2008, but the story around this match is very intriguing. AJ is currently two and zero since he returned earlier this year, and there’s no sense in him losing now.
Jarrett’s Prediction: AJ wins.
Joe’s Thoughts: My cardinal rule is that you never, ever bet against Kurt Angle on a TNA pay-per-view. However, with the recent focus on AJ Styles and his “one man gang” gimmick, I’m going with him.
Joe’s Prediction: AJ Styles
Scott’s Thoughts: Sure to be a contender for match of the night. Styles will go over.
Scott’s Prediction: AJ Styles
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Kurt Angle
Andy’s Thoughts: A match that gets the group involved but with Joe & Hardy making their return to PPV it just makes sense for them to go over. Aces & Eights have gotten the advantage on Impact!
Andy’s Prediction: Magnus, Joe & Hardy
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Honestly, this sounds like a pointless match to spotlight the returning Jeff Hardy. Personally, there are a million other things TNA needs to worry about instead of spotlighting Hardy.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Hardy wins for his team.
Joe’s Thoughts: I don’t think you take a major merchandise seller like Jeff Hardy, bring him back on a pay-per-view, and then have him lose his return match. The Aces and 8s winning does nothing for them, but Hardy winning generates some sales.
Joe’s Prediction: Magnus, Samoa Joe, and Jeff Hardy
Scott’s Thoughts: The returning Hardy adds more interest to this throwaway match. I’d like to see Joe get the win for his team.
Scott’s Prediction: Magnus, Joe, Hardy
William’s Thoughts:
