One year ago, Extreme Reunion debuted to mixed reviews. There followed a common thought the company would not live to see a second event. However, rebranded as Extreme Rising, the promotion came back strong with two critically acclaimed events. Every event Extreme Rising has hosted has seen company-wide growth in a positive direction, culminating their 2012 with the mega-event “Card Subject to Change” http://youtu.be/Cemaky5ARc0, which featured the crowing of the first-ever World Champion in Stevie Richards, the debut of the Briscoe Brothers in a steel cage versus Blk Out and Los Dramaticos, the debut of Hijo De Rey Misterio, and an entertaining line-up from top to bottom. 2013 starts off with a triple-shot weekend featuring events any Extreme wrestling fan will not want to miss.

Matt Hardy has surpassed what anyone thought he may have been capable of when he debuted in Extreme Rising, and was on his way to defeating “The Franchise” Shane Douglas in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA –before he was recklessly pushed by Hawx from the top rope to the concrete below, resulting in a concussion from the fall. Hawx began the verbal assault on social media by attacking Hardy and his girlfriend Reby Sky, immediately poking fun at the incident. Hardy responded by jumping him after Stevie Richards defeated Hawx to move on to become Extreme Rising champion. That same night Hardy slapped Hawx young son silly backstage thus causing Hawx to retaliate during Hardy’s match with Sabu. It’s time for these two to go one-on-one and settle their score.
