During an interview with the Busted Open Radio Show on Sirius XM, the current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy commented that he would likely be staying with iMPACT Wrestling when his contract expires in January 2013. When specifically asked about his future, Hardy commented that he’s “pretty much made that decision.”
He continued on to say that “in January when that rolls around, I’ll make a decision. I’ve pretty much made that decision. The music is going to be a huge part of it as far as keeping me around. We haven’t signed anything yet, but we are getting close.”
Since many wrestlers comment on the artistic and scheduling freedom afforded to them at iMPACT Wrestling, I would be surprised if Hardy is allowed to pursue a semi-full-time music career like Mickie James has over the last two years. More on this story as it becomes available…
