The following information was received via e-mail from the team behind the new Extreme Rising promotion. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Extreme Rising, it is a relatively new promotion operated by “The Franchise” Shane Douglas. The company primarily features wrestlers from the original ECW. However, many of those wrestlers also spent some time in iMPACT Wrestling as part of the EV 2.0 faction or as regular members of the roster. On Saturday, November 17th the battle grounds have been set for a pivotal night of action for the roster of Extreme Rising, as the night’s matches will consist of opening round contests in the Extreme Rising Title Tournament, putting key players one step closer to crowned the company’s first ever champion in Philadelphia, PA on December 29, 2012. Extreme Rising will also host a FAN FEST earlier in the day at The Golden Dome in Monaca, PA, from 12 noon to 3pm. The Fan Fest will consist of a Meet-and-Greet, with autograph and photo opportunities available at an additional charge.
