Bound for Glory Series – Daniels vs. Magnus.

Tie up and an arm bar reversed into a headlock by Daniels, reversed again by Magnus into a side headlock and thrown to the mat. Daniels gets a rope break and we’re back to vertical.

Daniels goes for a test of strength, selling Magnus short and kicking him instead. The right hands do nothing to Magnus as he throws some of his own. Daniels, shot off into the ropes, gets a knee up on the return. Forearms on Magnus, into the ropes, reversed, Magnus telegraphs a back body drop early and takes a boot to the chest for it. Magnus sells as Daniels goes back off the ropes with Magnus’ trademark follow-up clothesline taking Daniels unawares. Big paintbrush slaps to Daniels in the corner. Magnus sends Daniels off to the opposite corner, but Daniels gets the boot up. Daniels to the top, caught by Magnus in a bear hug, then a spine buster. Magnus keeps hold of the legs and locks on a Texas Cloverleaf. Daniels gets to the ropes to break it.

Daniels back up playing possum, then choking Magnus on the ropes. Daniels up top, clothesline, then sending Magnus out of the ring just before the commercials.

Commercial Break.

We’re back with Daniels still in charge, but Magnus attempts a comeback, sent down by Daniels via side slam. Again, Magnus attempts a comeback but cut off again with rights. Pin attempt is unsuccessful.

Daniels with a chin lock on Magnus as Magnus gets the backing of the crowd for energy. Magnus back up gets out with right hands. Boot from Daniels, attempt at a gut-wrench but Magnus lifts Daniels overhead, then returns fire with a clothesline and a big boot. Into the ropes goes Daniels, ducks a clothesline, attempts a cross-body but Magnus holds him with ease, inverting it into a trademark vertical suplex. Second rope elbow and a two-count from the pin.

Magnus picks Daniels up for a scoop slam but Daniels grabs the referee mid-air. Magnus drops Daniels who rolls through with his own pin and blatantly holds the tights to take the win.

Winner: Daniels via Pinfall.
