Earlier tonight, former World X Cup winner Sonjay Dutt made a surprise return to iMPACT Wrestling. Dutt surfaced as one of the first entrants into an X-Division Tournament to eventually crown a new TNA X-Division Champion at Destination X. Shortly after Dutt made his return to the iMPACT Wrestling Zone by defeating an independent wrestler named Rubix (also known as Jigsaw in the Ring of Honor promotion), he was congratulated for his performance by the Founder of TNA, Jeff Jarrett.
On Twitter, Jarrett stated: “@sonjaydutterson …great talent, great mind…even better person!”
Dutt responded in kind, praising Jarrett as his “boss.” His response was: “@JeffJarrettTNA owe a lot to you boss!”
As a guy who somewhat of a long-time fan of iMPACT Wrestling, I thought it was nice to see this simple interaction between Jeff and Sonjay. Here’s wishing Sonjay the best in the rest of the tournament!
