Though this probably is not much of a surprise to those who know the history between Earl Hebner and the only other major American wrestling promotion, the long-time “third man” and current TNA Senior Referee announced on Twitter that he has signed with iMPACT Wrestling through 2013. In addition to this announcement, Hebner noted that when he retires from refereeing it will be as a referee for iMPACT Wrestling. Here is the text of Hebner’s tweet announcement:
I signed with TNA for 2013! This is home for me when I leave, my ref shirt, & boots will b hanging on TNA ring ropes.
Hebner has enjoyed a six year run with iMPACT Wrestling (so far). Here’s hoping Earl the best with his new contract.
