Television Championship Match – Devon vs. Robbie T.
Devon’s first singles title in his career, and his first title defence.
Robbie E jumps on the apron to cause the start of this contest, distracting Devon so Robbie T can pummel him in the corner. Robbie T stalks Devon to another corner, and strikes him in the gut, before a short-arm clothesline in the middle of the ring. Full scoop and a slam from Terry, but a two count.
Another clothesline from Robbie T, but another two count.
Devon with a massive clothesline to take Robbie T out of the ring. Devon follows up with some rights, but Robbie E distracts him again, causing the referee to back him off and allowing Robbie T to attack Devon from behind as we go to the break.
Commercial Break.
More over-hand clubs on Devon. Backed into the corner, and whipped off brutally by Robbie T. Robbie T chokes Devon on the bottom rope, with the referee having a word with him. Robbie E taunts Devon from the outside, and Devon gets a second wind. A couple of rights into the stomach of Robbie T, but a massive elbow from Robbie T. Another two count.
Half scoop, and a slam by Robbie T, but another two count. Bischoff puts this down to inexperience and a lack of punctuality on the pinfall.
More clubbing blows from Robbie T, and a flex after, allowing Devon to get back into this. A few right hands, and springs off the ropes with elbows to take Robbie T down. Robbie E attempts a save, of sorts, but Devon throws him out. He comes back in, and the two Robbie’s beat Devon down. They whip him off, only for him to take them both down and throw them both out of the ring. Devon stands tall.
Winner: Devon via DQ.
