Like some of us noted way back when The Four Horsemen were announced as inductees into the Hall of Fame – this wasn’t controversial or indicative of anything other than Ric Flair receiving the accolades that he deserves.

Eh, he’s just an old man. There were a ton of old people in that arena yesterday. The difference between Flair and the rest of them is that most (not all, but most) of the rest of them are fully retired at this point. Flair is still a huge draw in terms of name power, so I have no problem with him being a manager like he’s been doing with Gunner. But I certainly don’t begrudge the man the ability to make a living because he’s older.
I feel the same way about Hogan, too. If they want to provide their name and likeness to a company and that company is willing to pay for it, then good for them for making some money!
