A video package runs focusing on tonight’s “No Holds Barred” match between TNA Champion Bobby Roode and Sting. The clip highlights Roode insulting Sting and this causing Sting to “wake up.”
A graphic opening hits welcoming us to Victory Road. We go live to Orlando, Florida inside the Impact Zone where a big display of pyro goes off. Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to tonight’s live Pay Per View event. They promote #VictoryRoad wanting live tweets from people watching the show live tonight.
Bully Ray’s music hits and he storms down to the ring. Tenay mentions the video released on YouTube where Ray claimed he would hold the PPV hostage tonight unless his match with James Storm tonight was changed to a #1 Contendership match for the TNA Championship. Ray gets on the mic, tells the crowd to shut up and kicks out the referee. Loud “WE WANT DEVON” chant. Ray asks the crowd if they know who he is. Loud booing reaction. He introduces himself and claims he is the “talk of the wrestling world.” Ray adds that right now he is trending worldwide on Twitter. He claims he is taking the PPV hostage and says the crowd will get nothing unless he gets what he wants. What Ray wants is for his match with James Storm to be for the #1 Contendership at Lockdown. Ray said he doesn’t care if other wrestlers, security, referees or even the police come down – he will stay here until he gets what he wants.
James Storms’ music hits and walks down the ramp with a mic in hand. Storm says Ray has chicken legs. On a related note, “Bully Ray” is actually trending worldwide on Twitter. He said he will knock out Ray with his foot and that removing him from the ring will be easy. Storm says he has Ray’s answer and he will give it to him right now. Storm hits the ring and here we go.

When James Storm hits the ring, Bully Ray cuts him off and hits a series of elbows. Ray tosses Storm to the corner and throws a few right hands. Ray grabs Storm’s beer bottle, takes a sip, runs at Storm and Storm catches Ray with a superkick. Storm hooks the leg and that is it folks.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with TNA X Division Champion Austin Aries. Borash asks Aries a question from a fan on Twitter asking when Sting will smarten up allowing him to main event a PPV. Eric Bischoff walks up and tells Borash to take a hike. Aries says he doesn’t have to be in the main event to steal the show. Both shake hands.
* Austin Aries defending the TNA X Division Championship against Zema Ion is next.
Zema Ion slaps Austin Aries right away when the bell rings and bails. Ion with a series of float overs on Aries. Aries with a big slap to the face of Ion. Aries dumps Ion to the outside and Ion lands with a thud. Aries grabs his cell phone from ringside and sends a quick tweet. Aries dumps Ion back in the ring. Ion is able to toss Aries out. Ion goes to attempt his springboard moonsault, but Aries slides back in. Ion with a springboard corkscrew splash from the corner on Aries. Ion clotheslines Aries to the outside. Ion connects with his springboard moonsault on Aries. A dazed Aries is rolled back in the ring, Ion hooks the leg and Aries kicks out. Ion mocks Aries attempting his swinging elbow drop, but Aries moves. Aries with a series of forearm shots and knees to Ion in the corner. Ion grabs his hairspray and puts it in his tights. Aries with more forearm shots. Aries with a knee breaker and front face slam combo. Aries connects with his swinging elbow, hooks the leg and gets a two count. Ion grabs the X Division Championship. The referee takes it away. As the referee tosses out the belt, Ion sprays the hairspray in the face of Aries, gets a roll up and Aries kicks out. Ion drops Aries’ shoulder over his knee and gets another close two count. Aries with a top rope powerbomb countering Ion. Aries connects with the Brainbuster and rolls through with his Last Chancery submission. Ion taps.

After the match, Austin Aries gets a big reaction from the Orlando crowd retaining his title. We see a series of highlights from the match leading to the finish.

We start with Magnus and Matt Morgan. They circle and Crimson tags himself in. Morgan isn’t a fan of this move. Crimson drops Magnus with a clothesline. Magnus responds with one of his own. Tag to Joe who drops Crimson in the corner with a series of jabs and boots. Joe with a slap to the back, kick to the chest and then a big knee drop. Tag back to Magnus. Crimson is sent into the ropes, holds on and bails out. Crimson wants some time to recover when Morgan is begging for a tag. Crimson drops Magnus over the top rope and then runs in connecting with a clothesline. Crimson launches Magnus into the corner and follows with a swinging neckbreaker. Crimson with a big suplex on Magnus. Crimson with a quick spinebuster and another two count during a pinfall attempt. Magnus fires back with a jumping clothesline. Morgan is begging for the tag. Tag to Joe as Crimson tells Morgan he is fine. Crimson misses a splash from the corner as Joe easily walks off. Joe with a snap powerslam on Crimson. Morgan moves Crimson from the corner and tags himself in. Morgan with a high knee to Joe and clothesline to Magnus. Crimson tags himself back in. Morgan slaps and tags himself back in. Joe with an inverted atomic drop, Magnus with a kick to the face and Joe with a body splash for a close two count. Crimson jumped off the ring apron and yelled, “I’m the winner of this team. Not you.” Morgan responds with a loud, “F*ck you.” Morgan with a double clothesline on Joe and Magnus. Crimson with a big spear on Morgan. Joe with a kick to Magnus, throws him down in a snapmare and Magnus comes off the top rope with a flying elbow to get the pinfall.

After the match, we see a shot of Crimson yelling at Matt Morgan calling him a loser.
Backstage, Jeremy Borash apologizes for Eric Bischoff and said not much else could be said “that hasn’t been said backstage for over 20 years now.” Borash is with TNA Champion Bobby Roode. Roode said the talking and mind games are over with Sting. “Tonight Sting…I end your career,” added Roode. He also reminds James Storm that he has never beaten him and will prove next month at Lockdown…Storm walks up and gets in his face. Storm said at Lockdown they have a title match…but tonight he is looking for a fight. Roode walks off.
* Robbie E. is out now for this open challenge for the TNA TV Championship.
Devon launches Robbie across the ring with a big hip toss. Devon drops Robbie with a big clothesline and then connects with a big face plant. Devon clotheslines Robbie to the outside and the crowd in Orlando is fired up. Robbie goes to grab a chair, but Brooke Hogan tries to grab the chair. Robbie yells at her and the referee prevents him from using the chair. Back in the ring, Robbie puts the boots to Devon. Devon explodes with a huge spear. Devon with a neckbreaker and another flying clothesline. Devon knocks Robbie T. off the ring apron, prevents a rollup from Robbie E. and connects with a big spinebuster. Devon hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

After the match, Devon is handed the title and holds it up high. We see highlights from the match leading to the finish. Back live, Devon is up on the corner saluting the crowd as they continue to give him a big reaction.
Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with TNA President Dixie Carter. She announces that Slammiversary, the 10th anniversary of TNA, will be coming to the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area at the University of Texas at Arlington. Borash mentions that Carter will be at ringside for tonight’s main event.
* Gail Kim defending the TNA Knockouts Championship against Madison Rayne is up next.
The two lock up and both are trying to rip each others hair out. Kim with a series of elbows and kicks in the corner on Madison. Rayne launches Kim off the ring apron into the steel ring barricade. Rayne tosses Kim back inside and Kim attempts a quick rollup that Rayne quickly counters with a clothesline. Rayne with a suplex into a bridge for a two count. Kim drops Rayne’s knee down over the mat. Kim with a cross body from the corner for a two count. Kim catches Rayne with a missle dropkick from the top rope. Rayne fights back throwing Kim face first into the mat. Rayne with a charging dropkick on Kim. Kim out of no where connects with her Eat Defeat and gets the pinfall.

After the match, we see the finish of the match with Gail Kim pulling off her finisher with a quick counter. Back live, Madison Rayne is still recovering at Gail Kim holds up her title.
Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. Daniels says this has nothing to do with Ken Anderson and he is getting involved where he doesn’t belong.

We start with Mr. Anderson and Kazarian. Anderson works over Kazarian with a few shots and tags in AJ Styles. Daniels gets the tag from Kazarian. Styles with a big hip toss and arm drag combo on Daniels. Daniels drops Styles with a big right hand. Kazarian interferes and Anderson goes after him. All four are brawling in the ring. Styles and Anderson send Kazarian and Daniels into each other. Anderson drops repeated elbows on Daniels. Styles with a delayed vertical sulpex on Daniels. Tag to Anderson who catches Daniels with an elbow. Tag to Kazarian and he takes a big hip toss from Anderson. Tag to Styles. Styles and Anderson execute a double hip toss on Kazarian. Daniels tosses Styles off the ring apron who goes flying face first into the steel ring barricade. Daniels sends Styles into the ring barricade on the other side. Back in the ring, Daniels catches Styles with a kick to the face. Daniels locks on an abdominal stretch on Styles. Daniels catches Styles with a big boot and tags in Kazarian yelling, “Get in there!” Styles with a jawbreaker on Kazarian. Daniels runs in to drop Styles. Styles counters a monkey flip, clotheslines an interfering Daniels and then connects with a Pele Kick on Kazarian. Hot tag to Anderson. Anderson with clotheslines on Daniels and Kazarian. Neckbreaker on Daniels and a front flip drop on Kazarian over Daniels. Daniels with a kick to the head of Anderson to break up a Mic Check attempt. Styles with a springboard clothesline on Daniels. Styles with a splash to Kazarian in the corner. Styles springboards from the corner, but Daniels drops down and Styles lands on his boots. Daniels avoids a splash over the top rope from Styles. Styles has the legal tag. Styles with a Styles Clash on Kazarian for the win.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with a smiling Kurt Angle. He says hello to his son and mentions he doesn’t prefer his son to watch violence, but he wants him to tonight. Angle runs down Hardy running down his attire, hair, and makeup.

Lock up and Angle pushes Hardy to the corner. Hardy with a quick shoulder block and Angle bails. When Angle returns to the ring, the two exchange hammerlocks and continue the counters. Angle rakes the eyes of Hardy and throws a few right hands. Hardy with a tilt-a-whirl head scissors takedown on Angle and then connects with a dropkick through the ropes when Angle bails. Hardy with a low blow drop and kick to the face combo for a close two count. They brawl to the outside. Hardy attempts his Poetry in Motion, but Angle moves and Hardy crashes into the steel barricade. Angle starts stomping the knee of Hardy and over his ankle as well. Angle tosses Hardy back in the ring, covers and gets a two count. Angle with a quick snap suplex on Hardy working over his lower back. Angle with a release overhead belly to belly suplex. Angle and Hardy exchange right hands. Hardy gets the better of it with a series of clotheslines and elbows. Hardy connects with a nasty looking Whisper in the Wind from the corner on Angle. Angle counters a Twist of Fate with a German suplex, a second and a third with a release. Hardy goes up top looking to attempt a Swanton Bomb, but Angle quickly jumps up and launches him off the top rope to the mat below. Angle with an ankle lock applied on Hardy. Hardy counters out kicking Angle away with his free leg. Angle crashes into the corner. Hardy with a Twist of Fate, hook of the leg and Angle gets a shoulder up after a close two count. Angle bails out, Hardy sends him into the steel steps repeatedly and rolls him back inside. Hardy is up top, Angle pops up, Hardy connects with a forearm to the head, Angle falls back, Hardy jumps for the Swanton and Angle gets his knees up. Angle is busted open as he connects with the Angle Slam and gets a two count. Angle is shocked. Hardy with another Twist of Fate. Hardy with repeated clotheslines and a kick to the chest. Hardy with a Swanton Bomb and has his legs land directly over the chest of Angle (Angle was far from the corner). Hardy lays down over Angle hooking the leg, Angle kicks out and rolls Hardy up over the top of the referee. Angle holds the ropes and the referee counts the pinfall.
Winner: Kurt Angle

Jeremy Borash handles the ring introductions for Sting and the TNA Champion Bobby Roode.
The bell rings and here we go. Lock up and Sting pushes Roode to the corner. Another lock up and Roode bails when Sting quickly gets the better of him with a counter. Roode returns, gets in a side headlock, Sting counters and drops Roode with a shoulder block. Sting with a quick hip toss, clothesline and misses a Stinger Splash attempt. Sting with a big dropkick and Roode rolls out to recover. Sting follows out and he sends Roode into the steel ring steps. Sting walks Roode around the ring throwing him into the barricade. Roode misses a chair shot attempt cracking the chair against the steel ring post. Sting with a Stinger Splash over the barricade. When they return to the ring, Roode rakes the eyes of Sting, drops him down and throws his knee around the steel ring post. Roode drops a series of elbows over Sting’s knee. Roode with a series of chops on Sting and more shots to his knee. Roode with a dropkick sending Sting into the ropes. Roode gets the Figure Four applied. Roode pulls back and yells at Sting to tap. Sting turns over to counter. Roode gets to the bottom rope. Roode clips the back of Sting’s knee. Sting is back up and Roode hits a chop. Sting doesn’t budge. Another chop and Sting walks closer to Roode. Sting fires himself up, takes a kick from Roode and still stands. Sting with a high back body drop on Roode. Stinger Splash connects in the corner. Sting attempts a second and Roode moves. Sting with the Scorpion Deathlock applied. Roode breaks free and drops Sting off the top rope. Roode with a spear. Roode grabs a chair from under the ring and tosses it in. Roode sets the chair up. Sting counters Roode and connects with the Scorpion Deathdrop. However, as Sting came down he clipped the back of his head on the chair. Roode rolls over, gets his arm over Sting and gets the pinfall.
Winner: TNA Champion Bobby Roode
After the match, Bobby Roode tosses referee Earl Hebner out of the ring. Roode grabs another chair and gets in the face of Dixie Carter at ringside. Roode tosses the chair in and then grabs Dixie Carter tossing her in the ring. Roode forces Dixie to stare down at Sting. Dixie backs up to the corner and Roode gets in her face. Sting recovers and hits a few rights sending Roode out of the ring. A dazed Sting tries to get Dixie to leave when Roode cracks a chair over Sting’s back. Roode puts Sting down in the corner, grabs duct tape and tapes the wrists of Sting to the ropes. Dixie tries removing the tape, but Roode grabs her by her hair and moves her to the opposite corner. Dixie runs over and sits over Sting. Roode has the chair and almost goes to hit Sting, but stops with Dixie over Sting. Roode pie faces Dixie and pushes her to the mat. “What are you going to do Dixie? There is nothing you can do,” yelled Roode at Dixie. A loud “FIRE BOBBY” chant starts up as the PPV goes off the air.
