Jarrett’s Thoughts: Joe and Magnus just won the titles, it’d be pretty stupid to lose them this early (although stranger things have happened)
Jarrett’s Prediction: Joe and Magnus retain
Joe’s Thoughts:
Joe’s Prediction: Samoa Joe & Magnus
Mark A.’s Thoughts: Return match from the massively over Joe & Magnus? I can see the Morgan/Crimson feud reigniting now.
Mark A.’s Prediction: Joe & Magnus.
Mark L.’s Thoughts: I hope Joe and Magnus keep the belts. It’s a good look for them.
Mark L.’s Prediction: Samoa Joe & Magnus
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction:
Jarrett’s Thoughts: The first of two matches that will be good, but confusing. TNA hasn’t done a good job of giving the fans incentive to root for either competitor.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Gail Kim retains
Joe’s Thoughts:
Joe’s Prediction: Gail Kim
Mark A.’s Thoughts: I’ve seen this feud coming for a few months now. Madison probably isn’t going to be the face Women’s Champion for fans to cheer.
Mark A.’s Prediction: Gail Kim.
Mark L.’s Thoughts: Rayne’s a better heel, but Kim’s better in ring. Besides, Rayne already had a strong Rayne at one point.
Mark L.’s Prediction: Gail Kim
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Madison Rayne
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I assume Aries is the tweener due to Ion bragging about breaking Sorensen’s neck with the moonsault from hell, but it’s still hard to guess. Should be a great match though with Aries retaining and going on to lock down to face his next challenger. I’ll put my prediction of Shelly in here now. Who else could he face?
Jarrett’s Prediction: Aries retains?
Joe’s Thoughts:
Joe’s Prediction: Austin Aries
Mark A.’s Thoughts: Zema Ion shouldn’t even be in this match.
Mark A.’s Prediction: Austin Aries.
Mark L.’s Thoughts: I hate that I won last month via broken neck. But I’m still a fan of Ion’s ability.
Mark L.’s Prediction: ZEMA ION
William’s Thoughts: I think TNA is on to something with Aries X-Division title run and look for it to continue.
William’s Prediction: Austin Aries
Jarrett’s Thoughts: This is the second Pay-Per-View where Robbie E has issued an open challenge. I think TNA would be wise to either give him a competitive match that he wins or make him lose. Not featuring him on Television as the TV Champ is an injustice for what used to be a major title.
Joe’s Thoughts: I’m a big fan of Robbie E. so I’m sure that I’d be entertained by his time on the pay-per-view tonight. I just hope that they don’t turn Robbie T. on him yet because this duo is actually entertaining to watch (and it gives Robbie T. a great vehicle to use his incredible size, too).
Mark A.’s Thoughts: I hold hope that Doug Williams will answer this challenge, and school Robbie E on the ways of British wrestling, however, Robbie will retain. Again.
Mark L.’s Thoughts: Impact seems to be trying to build Robbie E on the low… I think he’ll beat whoever’s unfortunate enough to challenge him.
No Holds Barred
Sting vs. Bobby Roode
Jarrett’s Thoughts: This is the way Sting wrestling should be treated, a big match on a Pay-per-view that has been promoted for more than two hours. With Roode going on to face Storm, a win for Roode is needed to make him strong heading in to Lock Down, but who knows if that’ll happen.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Roode squeaks by
Joe’s Thoughts:
Joe’s Prediction: Bobby Roode
Mark A.’s Thoughts: This match prevents the World Title being put on the line, which probably means that Roode will lose. Sting, once again, has gone through a transition and kept himself relevant to the audience.
Mark A.’s Prediction: Sting.
Mark L.’s Thoughts: If this is to build for Lockdown, let Roode look strong.
Mark L.’s Prediction: Bobby Roode
William’s Thoughts: I think Sting lays down to solidify Roode’s Championship legitimacy, I enjoy the “Joker” Sting so much I wish he would make on last Championship run with this character.
William’s Prediction: Roode.
Jeff Hardy vs. Kurt Angle
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Unfortunately, this is another match where the winner is clear. I’m fine with a few of these matches, but the PPV shouldn’t be littered with them. I would be more than happy losing this prediction if it means Hardy taps.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Hardy wins
Joe’s Thoughts:
Joe’s Prediction: Kurt Angle
Mark A.’s Thoughts: High-flying acrobat vs. the finest technical wrestler ever seen in the States. Won’t be one for the ages, but Angle will make him look like a serious contender to the World Title again later in the year.
Mark A.’s Prediction: Jeff Hardy.
Mark L.’s Thoughts: Could go either way.
Mark L.’s Prediction: Kurt Angle
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Hardy
Bully Ray vs. James Storm
Jarrett’s Thoughts: This match is easy to predict, but still should be a fun match. Bully Ray is the man to watch out for in 2012. He’s got the looks, the swagger, and the calves (knew I had to sneak that in) to be a big deal in TNA.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Storm
Joe’s Thoughts:
Joe’s Prediction: James Storm
Mark A.’s Thoughts: This being a one-on-one is very unusual. Given the heat between the two, this could have easily been a street fight, but maybe that would have undermined Sting/Roode.
Mark A.’s Prediction: James Storm.
Mark L.’s Thoughts: If this is to build for Lockdown, let Storm look strong too.
Mark L.’s Prediction: James Storm
William’s Thoughts: Sorry about Bully Ray’s damn luck.
William’s Prediction: James Storm
AJ Styles & Mr. Anderson vs. Christopher Daniels & Kazarian
Jarrett’s Thoughts: This is the only match (The TV Title challenge doesn’t count)who doesn’t have a clear winner. AJ Styles is the face of TNA (and Phenomenal), Mr. Anderson is an entertaining “a**hole,” Daniels is one of the top guys never to have held the TNA World Title, and Kazarian is one feud away from being a serious contender. Bundle these four men in a match and let the magic happen!
Jarrett’s Prediction: Daniels and Kazarian wins
Joe’s Thoughts:
Joe’s Prediction: Christopher Daniels & Kazarian
Mark A.’s Thoughts: Mr. Anderson is back. I’m very happy about this! Still slightly annoyed that AJ’s not in the title picture again, but this has the potential to be the match of the night, in my eyes.
Mark A.’s Prediction: AJ & Anderson.
Mark L.’s Thoughts: I. Love. Heel. Kaz.
Mark L.’s Prediction: Daniels & Kaz
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Daniels
