Earlier tonight, Jesse Sorensen was injured in his match against Zema Ion at the TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view. This match was to determine the number one contender to Austin Aries‘ TNA X-Division Championship. Word going around is that Sorensen was knocked out at some point during the match. Some reports suggest he took a bad fall after diving out of the ring and then had that botched fall followed up by a knee to his head from Ion. We won’t know exactly what might have happened until there is an official diagnosis delivered from a medical professional.
After the injury took place, Dixie Carter posted the following on Twitter account:
“Jesse Sorensen was injured in the opening match of tonight’s PPV. He is currently being transported to the hospital. I will keep you updated”
Shortly after Carter’s update, Hulk Hogan added the following update to his Twitter account:
“Please pray for Jesse ,it was a bad break,total health for Jesse. Much respect. HH”
