Look for Hulk Hogan to make a UK TV appearance on Wednesday according to a post on the official Impact Wrestling Twitter account, “UK Fans: Hulk Hogan will be on top British TV show “Loose Women” on Wednesday to talk TNA’s Tour. For more info, visit http://itv.com/loosewomen“
For our non UK readers Wikipedia describes Loose Women as “Loose Women is a British lunchtime television programme, first broadcast in 1999 on ITV. It consists of a panel of four women who interview celebrities and discuss topical issues, ranging from daily politics and current affairs, to celebrity gossip.”
Sounds like the USA’s The View program, hopefully it’s four Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s and not four Joy Behar’s. If any of our UK readers have watched this show, or plan on watching the Hulk Hogan episode, please leave us some feedback below, we’d love to know more about it.

Well its just like the view, its pretty big in the UK and airs at lunchtime. Their demo is mostly women so Hogan being on the show is strange. It won’t help the TNA brand or help ticket sales. He should have done a breakfast show or a sports show.

Thanks for the info Zee. You’d be surprised at how many late to middle aged women were fans of Hulk Hogan’s when they were little. This may entice some of them to give Impact a shot.

Moofasa, thanks for the heads up.

I just saw that video. I guess this puts to rest the dirt-sheet reports on how whenever Hogan gets put on TV to advertise TNA, he only advertises himself. He put TNA/IW over very well in this.

A little odd how Hogan shall be on a program who’s leading demographic is women (as Zee King already pointed out) aged anywhere between around 21 – 45. Its popular over here in the UK, but its still part of the day time TV which pretty much nobody is around to watch (accept for house wives for example, hence the demographic), though its still a very successful program.
I’ve only seen the show a few times. Being a guy though, I’m probably going to be a little biased here since its mostly a women’s program, but it bores me to death (and I can’t stand when they seem to flirt with the male guests when I believe most of the presenters are married already judging by their age).
However, if its publicity, then good for TNA. Maybe they’re trying to reach out to the older women who watch this show by using Hulk Hogan, which may remind the older female viewers of Hogan, leading to them telling their husbands (old WWF fans) of how she saw Hogan on TV, leading those to check Hogan out on the internet, leading them to TNA, spreading the news from there to everyone else, old and young. Well, like I said, its publicity. So its good. I just hope to GOD the presenters don’t start making tired-old wrestling clichés, believing pro-wrestling is a world full of oiled up guys in trunks who wear masks.
