In a tweet yesterday, TNA Knockout Velvet Sky confirmed to fans that she had been removed from the up-coming U.K. tour lineup, after a “storyline change” occurred.
As reported by William yesterday, TNA have confirmed that they will tape two episodes of Impact Wrestling in London’s Wembley Arena. With this has come belief that changes in the roster flying over to the U.K. will occur, as TNA continue storylines and feuds outside of America for the benefit of TV audiences. Velvet Sky is the first change on the roster, with the possibility of more to come.
This also brings into question the recent competition that Challenge TV, Sky and TNA were running, where one winner would win a “date” with Velvet Sky at one of the venues. The competition was running from late 2011, and it is yet unconfirmed as to who will replace Velvet Sky, if indeed they keep this competition running.
