Earlier today, Dixie Carter announced that iMPACT Wrestling will tape it’s show in London, England’s Wembley Arena on Saturday, January 28th. Carter sounded excited in her Twitter announcement as this will be a big undertaking for the promotion. This taping also fulfills the requests of many fans who have been asking for a taping of the show in the United Kingdom for the last few years. Here is the full text of Carter’s announcement as it appeared on Twitter:
BIG NEWS FOR TNA. We will film Impact from Wembley Arena in London on January 28th!!! Cannot tell you how excited I am! More details will be announced next week. Spread the word…you will not want to miss this special night.

If memory serves me correctly TNA had their biggest house show of around 8,000 the last time they ran there. With a tv taping they may pack the house.
Good memory, William. Two years ago they ran a house show at Wembley Arena and they drew in between 9,000 and 10,000 fans.
