Hey everyone – what did you think about tonight’s Final Resolution pay-per-view?
For my part, I thought that it was a little lame for all of the champions to retain their titles, but at the same time none of the potential title changes made any sense. I’m not sure if this is a sign of staleness on the part of the various storylines or just a function of the fact that the team at iMPACT Wrestling is still in the process of building their twelve month story arcs. My hope is that the first few pay-per-views of the new “iMPACT Wrestling year” (which runs from November’s Turning Point through October’s Bound for Glory) aren’t going to just be throwaways events. If that’s the case, then I don’t see why the promotion wouldn’t just have a “Clash of the Champions” style event on Spike TV one Thursday night instead of a regular episode of the show.
Anyway, I didn’t actually watch the show so I can’t praise or criticize any of the in-ring action… although I’m wondering if you can do that for the TNAStars.com readers! I’m particularly interested in the opinions of anyone who actually saw the show either live on TNAonDEMAND.com, on pay-per-view in your home or at a friend’s house, or live in person. How did you watch the show? What made you want to watch this month’s pay-per-view? What should the people who didn’t see the show know more than anything else? What was the feel of the crowd? How did the show come off to you as a fan?
