You may remember how the internet hate sites/dirt sheets and their lying “new reporters” tried to create a story last week regarding Jesse Neal. According to the liars’ reports last week, Neal had decided to leave iMPACT Wrestling (William debunked that story twice here and here). False, copied and pasted reports also cited that Neal had grown an ego and was looked down on backstage.
All conjectured lies generated by people trying to infer an entire novel’s worth of falsehood from a few of Neal’s tweets.
To his great credit, Jesse Neal directly attacked the false reports that spread around the dirt sheets. You can listen to Neal’s words for yourself by utilizing the video below and fast forwarding to the 16 minute, 40 second point of the video. The first few minutes after the 16:40 point in the video directly contradict all of the hateful, anti-iMPACT Wrestling lies that the false reporters tried to make reality.
If we’ve written it once, we’ve written it hundreds of time – be careful where you get your news online. In Jesse Neal’s own words from the video below: “[The dirt sheets] shouldn’t run their mouth or run with the rumors and stuff like that when they don’t know the full story.”

Just a small bit of commentary…
Even after listening to Jesse Neal’s comments, I still don’t buy into his wrestling character. Don’t get me wrong – Jesse Neal the man seems like a good guy and someone that I would probably enjoy getting a beer with if the opportunity came up. However, I’m not buying into this character that he’s got right now. I’d like to see iMPACT Wrestling give him a different gimmick.
Likes or dislikes of the wrestling character aside, there was no excuse for the relentless anti-TNA hate that spread around the internet last week around this story. If you want to know which websites to visit where you can get reliable reports, just go back and check which websites in your bookmarks or in your regularly visited sites that reported this story as fact. It was totally appalling.
I know we get a lot of high school and college students that read this website and we love having you here. In your studies, I hope you take a moment to look up the term “conjecture.” Then, I hope you keep the meaning of that word at the forefront of your mind when you read the wrestling media (and, to a much larger degree, the regular news media).

I agree with your assessment of Neal, good worker, seems like a nice guy, but definitely not feeling his character.

And what gets me is that I like Shannon Moore. I think the Book of D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F. stuff is funny and his punk style sort of suits him. I just don’t feel it for Jesse Neal.
Might be part of the reason why he’s not connecting with some of the fans.

I’m not going to say Im not feeling his character. I just dont really feel him playing that character, as of now. I have seen some improvement (not enough to make me feel happy to see him.)
When you see his character, you think bad ass. You cant be a bad ass if you have a smile(looking happy b/c the fans are cheering for you)on your face when walking to the ring all the time. You have to look focus; like youre ready to kick someone’s ass.
INK INK does have a good thing/look going on since theyve added the female but OVW wouldnt be bad for Neal. I see potintial. I understand where he’s coming from as well. He gotta pay bills.

That’s the thing about pro wrestling though, these guys aren’t stage actors, a promotion has to find a character the wrestler fits or feels. Your points about Neal are dead on, that’s why I don’t feel his character as real.
Think Rocky Maivia vs. The Rock. Same guy but The Rock fit Dwayne Johnson much better than Maivia. They need to sit down with Neal find what makes him tick and find something that fits him better. I’m not saying Neal can or will be the Rock, but they need to find something that suits him better.
