Robbie E vs. Jesse Sorensen.
Robbie E is accompanied to ringside by Rob Terry, who is now being used as a “bouncer” of a nightclub, allowing Robbie E access to the ring by using the sort of rope nightclub’s use.
Sorensen signs a football and gives it to a fan ramp-side.
Rob Terry keeps Robbie E protected until Robbie E gives him permission to leave, and here we go!
Robbie E in with a slap to the face of Sorensen to kick it off. Sorensen lashes out at Robbie, punching him in the corner before the referee breaks it and divides the two. The referee telss them to go at it again, and we lock up, but Robbie goes behind. Sorensen reverses, leading to a headlock on Robbie E. Robbie whips Sorensen off, but Sorensen comes back with a shoulder. Off the ropes he goes, leap-frog from Robbie is successful. He attempts it again, but Sorensen stops dead and slaps Robbie in the face as he comes back down. Sorensen in for a corner mount on Robbie, rains the punches down on him for a full ten-count. Big right hand from Sorensen sends Robbie down, and a pin attempt only gets a two.
Sorensen shoots Robbie off into the ropes, but Robbie holds on, attempting to boot Sorensen. Sorensen sees it, throws the boot down and clotheslines Robbie over the top, to the floor, in front of Rob Terry. Sorensen is an imposing figure in the ring as Rob Terry massages Robbie E’s shoulders. Sorensen comes out to whack Robbie, but Terry gets in-between them, guarding Robbie E again, but Sorensen is pumped, pounds his chest and confronts Terry, diverting his attention away from Robbie E and allowing for Robbie to punch Sorensen down. Robbie picks Sorensen up and throws him into the ring as we go for a break.
We’re back with Sorensen on top, whipping Robbie off into the ropes, but it’s reversed. Robbie with an elbow to his face, and a pin attempt, but only a two count.
Front headlock from Robbie, and a scoop slam. Robbie mounts the rope, fist-pumps and drops an elbow into the face of Sorensen. Another quick pin attempt is unsuccessful, getting a two count.
Right hands from Sorensen as he gets back up, but he’s cut off by a strong whip to the corner, devastating the comeback. Robbie again looking for the quick pin only gets a two, and is growing frustrated with the count.
Headlock from Robbie, cutting off the airflow to Sorensen, but Sorensen continues to try and get support on his side, and after some time on the floor, Sorensen shows life and rises up to punch Robbie in the gut and break the hold. Sorensen whips Robbie to the ropes, but telegraphs a back body drop, allowing Robbie to get in an inverted Russian leg sweep. Another quick pin attempt, and another two count.
A frustrated Robbie E again locks on the headlock to restrict Sorensen. After time in the headlock, Sorensen is given the arm-drop test from the referee. Sorensen gains life again on the third drop, and squirms his way up off the mat. Elbows to Robbie’s mid-section release the hold, but Robbie gets a clubbing blow to the back of Sorensen. Robbie fires Sorensen into the corner, taunts, then rushes in. Sorensen moves, bounces off the ropes and delivers a high knee… or two… and then a massive dropkick. Sorensen again off the ropes as Robbie struggles to keep his balance, and a spinning neck breaker. Sorensen with the pin, but on;y a two count, as Robbie E kicks out.
Sorensen stalks his prey, awaiting for Robbie E to return to his feet, and from behind, locks on a reverse DDT-like hold, but Rob Terry holds Sorensen’s foot, allowing Robbie E chance to escape and knee Sorensen in the gut. Robbie shoots him off, reversed, and Sorensen goes back to the reverse DDT position, spinning Robbie E around and drilling him into the mat with a DDT, getting the pin and the win!
Winner: Jesse Sorensen via Pinfall.
