TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Bobby Roode vs. Kurt Angle
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I love the buildup to this match, TNA has made Roode a superstar because of it. I only wish they had made Angle seem stronger. A strong heel champion makes the babyface look that much better.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Bobby Roode becomes the New TNA Heavyweight Champion
Joe’s Thoughts: Bobby Roode certainly is on a different level now that he’s received a month-plus long push heading into this match. Still, part of me wants to suggest that Kurt Angle is going to keep the title because – as a 15-time World Champion already – I don’t think he’s got many more championship wins in his career. Plus, with Ric Flair’s golden number of 16 World Championships, I’m not sure that Kurt Angle is going to be the one to break that record. And still, though, I think Bobby Roode gets the title – even if only for a short time.
Joe’s Prediction: Bobby Roode
Mark’s Thoughts: Roode’s come a loooooong way. He’s got this.
Mark’s Prediction: Bobby Roode.
Scott’s Thoughts: Angle and Roode will steal the show. I can see a lot of back and forth here but ultimately I see Angle putting over Roode for his monumental moment.
Scott’s Prediction: Bobby Roode

Winner Gets Control of the Company
Hulk Hogan Fights Sting
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I’m really split on this. I want to get this off my chest, and it’s no secret I think this: Sting vs. Hogan SHOULD NOT happen in 2011! However it will happen, Hogan signed a new contract, but I seriously don’t know how long they can keep Immortal running before it gets staler than it already is.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Sting wins the ‘fight’
Joe’s Thoughts: This is it. This is the time for Hulk Hogan to shine. No, I don’t think he’s going to put on a wrestling classic (or a “fighting classic”), but this is Hogan’s opportunity. This is his opportunity to live up to the words that he’s been saying since day one – that he is in iMPACT Wrestling to put the promotion on the map by elevating the existing talent. Sure, it would be better to have AJ Styles in the main event since he should be the one getting put over, but I’m more than happy to settle on Sting being the one getting the rub because I know Sting will turn around and pass the torch to the iMPACT Wrestling originals.
Joe’s Prediction: Sting
Mark’s Thoughts: It would be amazing on soooo many levels if Hogan won… and honestly, it wouldn’t be that difficult for him since Immortal’s obviously going to interfere to their heart’s content. The odds will be stacked against Sting, but… then again… he is insane…
Mark’s Prediction: Sting
Scott’s Thoughts: Not expecting much more than a nostalgia fest for this one, with lots of interference to save Hogan’s crumbling body. It’ll be close but I see “The Icon” winning.
Scott’s Prediction: Sting
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Sting
Jarrett’s Thoughts: It’s ironic that Mickie James made her PPV debut in TNA refereeing a Four-Way match for the KO Title at Bound for Glory. I’m not a fan of the flip-flopping the championship did between James and Winter because it Winter look weak. As much as I like Mickie James, I don’t see her walking out champion.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Velvet Sky wins her first KO Title
Joe’s Thoughts: I’m content going with Velvet Sky on this one because iMPACT Wrestling has almost built a female version of the Steve Austin vs. Mr. McMahon feud between Sky and Karen Jarrett. In fact, if Sky wins the match, I hope that they continue to walk down that road with those two because it really could work out pretty well.
Joe’s Prediction: Velvet Sky
Mark’s Thoughts: Winter had a pretty short run, Mickie James had an okay run, and Madison Rayne had a pretty long run that was pretty impressive for a heel Knockout in my opinion. But I really wanna see Velvet Sky finally win one and take over.
Mark’s Prediction: Velvet Sky
Scott’s Thoughts: Should be a good match with James & Winter carrying much of the bout. I do predict that Sky will finally capture the gold though.
Scott’s Prediction: Velvet Sky

TNA World Tag Team Championship
Ink, Inc. vs. Mexican America
Jarrett’s Thoughts: I don’t know who I want to win this because quite frankly I hate both Tag Teams. The rumor is Hernandez contract runs out soon, so I see this is a way to take the belts off of the Mexican America stable.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Ink Inc. wins the Tag Titles
Joe’s Thoughts: Isn’t this going to be the match broadcast on Facebook during the free preshow? I’m a little aggravated at that since I’ll be watching the show in a local movie theater, but maybe if I get there early they’ll feed this match onto the screen. Still, something about a World Championship match being the curtain jerker annoys me. I don’t think anything big changes on a Facebook freebie.
Joe’s Prediction: Mexican America
Mark’s Thoughts: We kind of need a revival of the tag team division. I get the feeling that this won’t be the match to do it. It would be amazing, however, if this somehow started a ridiculously outrageous rivalry between the teams. At this rate, the only way they can make me care about this is if it gets over-the-top. I was going to originally say that Mexican America was going to win, but with the Dues Ex Machima that is Ink, Inc. new lady, they may actually stand a chance…
Mark’s Prediction: Ink, Inc.
Scott’s Thoughts: Not really looking forward to this one. Neither team interest me for any reason. I expect a controversial win for the Mexican Americans though thanks to a run in (Maybe Homicide?)
Scott’s Prediction: Mexican America
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Mexican America
Jarrett’s Thoughts: If there is one thing I hate more than Mexican America, it’s Brian Kendrick. The fact he’s playing a babyface shocks me, simply because his logic is heel. He doesn’t care about the championship, talks about people behind their backs, sneak attacks people. He simply needs to reinvent himself to stay relevant in TNA. His current guru character isn’t working.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Austin Aries retains the X Division Championship
Joe’s Thoughts: It’s not that I dislike Brian Kendrick, it’s that I’m sort of amazed that they’re going to stick with the Wizard of Odd thing. Yeah, it’s a gimmick and one that Kendrick plays to perfection. But, I feel like Kendrick can do more in a different role. Which role? I don’t know – I’m not one of the writers of this stuff!
Joe’s Prediction: Austin Aries
Mark’s Thoughts: Kendrick said in an interview that he worked so hard to get the belt that he didn’t even know what to do when he had it. And I must admit, his chase was much more interesting than his reign. I say… chase a little bit longer.
Mark’s Prediction: Austin Aries
Scott’s Thoughts: This will be an exciting one. Loads of high risk and awe inspiring moments but with plenty of submissions too. Aries is a great arrogant champion and I see him retaining.
Scott’s Prediction: Austin Aries

Full Metal Mayhem Match
Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn
Jarrett’s Thoughts: This is Full Metal Mayhem? Why wasn’t this mentioned on iMPACT Wrestling? This was more important than mentioning Hulk Hogans “retirement” at least twice in every match on 10/6 edition. This is the type of match that should be a semi-main event, but it’s being treated as a joke, kind of like RVD’s whole TNA stint!
Jarrett’s Prediction: Rob Van Dam wins
Joe’s Thoughts: This has the potential to be entertaining to those of us who are old school ECW fans. However, as I don’t think that there is any point to having Jerry Lynn win on the biggest show of the year, I’m going with RVD for the victory.
Joe’s Prediction: RVD
Mark’s Thoughts: The token violent match on the card, I suppose. But of course, it’s not like these guy don’t know how to do token violent matches.
Mark’s Prediction: RVD
Scott’s Thoughts: Plenty of blood shed and botches ahoy. Lynn doesn’t need a win as his career is pretty much over.
Scott’s Prediction: RVD
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: RVD
Jarrett’s Thoughts: If there was a match that deserved to close the show that wasn’t for a title, this should be it. AJ Styles is one of the greats wrestling today, Christopher Daniels is one of the best to never be a World Champion. The two make magic whenever they wrestle together, an I Quit match is a must-see for any TNA fan. Heck, its’ a must-see for any wrestling fan!
Jarrett’s Prediction: AJ Styles
Joe’s Thoughts: I don’t know how much longer the jealousy storyline will be able to work between these two. For that reason alone I’m going with AJ Styles for the win, but the bigger storyline question for me is whether or not the fans are interested in another round between these two post-Bound for Glory…
Joe’s Prediction: AJ Styles
Mark’s Thoughts: Oops… there’s more violent tokens than the EV2.0 leftovers… This one makes me laugh a sinister laugh though. Forks anyone? Okay, AJ’s probably not going to put a fork to Daniel’s eye, but I still think AJ’s going to handle this.
Mark’s Prediction: AJ Styles
Scott’s Thoughts: Another show stealer. These two have great chemistry and I expect it to go for 20 minutes. Daniels needs the win more than AJ.
Scott’s Prediction: Daniels
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Christopher Daniels
Falls Count Anywhere Match
Bully Ray vs. Mr. Anderson
Jarrett’s Thoughts: It is weird to see a Wrestling PPV strapped with so many gimmick matches that would normally be reserved for a main event. I’m not sure to pick for this, but I make this pick solely on fact that Bully Ray seems to squeak his way through matches I never would guess he would (Slammiversary and Hardcore Justice) and TNA needs a Strong Heel.
Jarrett’s Prediction: Bully Ray
Joe’s Thoughts: When I make my prediction, I always try to envision who has the most to gain from winning a big-time pay-per-view match and this time around, it’s got to be iMPACT Wrestling’s future “big thing” Bully Ray.
Joe’s Prediction: Bully Ray
Mark’s Thoughts: Well, this has the potential to be pretty violent as well, doesn’t it? This one, I feel, could go either way, but Bully Ray is seemingly much more violent than Anderson.
Mark’s Prediction: Bully Ray
Scott’s Thoughts: Again not a match I’m that interested in but I do give Bully Ray credit for reinventing himself as a top heel. Mr Anderson will get the pin though
Scott’s Prediction: Mr Anderson
William’s Thoughts:
William’s Prediction: Bully Ray
Jarrett’s Thoughts: Interesting Choice of a Match, especially a last-minute addition. Joe hasn’t looked strong at all which worries me deeply, I do think that Joe will capitalize on the chaos and pull out a victory, otherwise it’s a waste of a storyline
Jarrett’s Prediction: Samoa Joe
Joe’s Thoughts: Now that Crimson is back from his BS “injury” that took him out of the Bound for Glory Series and his rightful place in the main event tonight, I don’t see him undefeated streak ending any time soon. Plus, Samoa Joe bores the hell out of me which is absolutely amazing considering that he should be a featured main event wrestler. It’s his character – it absolutely sucks… like “X-Pac Heat” sucks.
Joe’s Prediction: Crimson
