TNA star Kurt Angle was featured in an interview with mainstream newspaper The Trentonian yesterday and had some comments about Sunday’s Bound For Glory PPV:
“I’ve always loved Philadelphia. I trained for six years here and I have fond memories of the crowds here. This one of the best markets for wrestling fans, whether it’s TNA, WCW, ECW or WWE. We couldn’t have made a better pick for the site of Bound for Glory.
The most important thing is that fans are really going to love the match we’re going to have. Bobby is an incredible talent. He’s really one of the top three wrestlers in the business today. This is his time to shine, wrestling for the world title for the first time. Will he win? No, but it’s his time to show what he can do in the main event. It could be the match of the year if we do it right.
This is our WrestleMania, and it’s got that kind of feel to it. It’s not WrestleMania yet, but it’s getting there, and it’s going to be a great show.”
