Various interweb wrestling news sites are reporting that TNA Impact Wrestling star Hulk Hogan has signed a new deal with the company. According to the reports his deal was set to expire after the Bound For Glory PPV. None of the reports mention deal length or amount.
Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff were originally rumored to have been signed to deals of equal length and there are no new reports of Bischoff signing an extension, though reports earlier this year indicate Bischoff received a raise and change in title.
Please note that these interweb sites are notorious for having contract length, signings, and extensions wrong. We will keep you posted if and when anything official comes out.

I would say it’s a good move. In fact, TNA should be thankful Hogan chose to stay. Keep pushing young stars like Roode, make sure the product is taken on the road, and keep the storylines fresh. TNA ROCKS!

This is nothing but good news for iMPACT Wrestling. And while I understand that many of the denizens of the internet wrestling world are going to say that this is a horrible move by the company, I understand even better that many of these folks have no idea how to run a business, have never had the tremendous responsibility to compete (and succeed) in the marketplace, and and completely unaware of Hulk Hogan’s (or Ric Flair’s or Eric Bischoff’s for that matter) true importance in professional wrestling.
Sure, they may know something about Flair from his retirement and wildly successful DVD packages and they may know something about Bischoff as is reported through the skewed WWE lens that now owns all of WCW’s history, but these men are so much more than the internet wrestling world chooses to recognize.
I’m glad that Hogan is back and here’s hoping that he, Bischoff, and Flair sign long-term extensions and continue pushing iMPACT Wrestling forward.

It seems like every “huge TNA fan” has the same opinion. Which begs the question, why are you a huge TNA fan? Afterall, Hogan has been with the company nearly 2 years now. You’re still here? Ugh. Whatever.
Anyjews, this is great news IF true. I can only imagine Bischoff will follow (unless he has done already).
