Borash and Taz run down the shows contents this week, and we’re straight to action.
Jesse Sorensen vs. Magnus.
Magnus accompanied by Doug Williams, who enters the ring with a closed fist at first, then offers to shake Jesse’s hand.
Magnus riles the crowd, and we tie up. Magnus backs Sorensen into the corner. Sorensen shoves Magnus. Magnus back at Sorensen. Sorensen with a a schoolboy gets a one count. A crucifix pin, two count. Backslide, two count. Magnus with a big right hand, then whips Sorensen into the ropes. Tiltawhirl, reversed into an arm drag from Sorensen. Two more, then an arm bar on Magnus. Magnus backs Sorensen into the corner after a few moments, punching him in the face for good measure. Magnus shoots him off into the other corner, but Sorensen springs back with a crossbody. Two count from the pin. Williams is on the apron, garners the attention of Sorensen and allows Magnus to punish Sorensen’s mistake, sending him out to the floor, right at the feet of Williams. A couple of knees and a punch in the chest later, Sorensen is rolled back into the ring. Some strikes from Magnus keeps the momentum up, and a backbreaker. Pin attempt. Two count.
Sorensen with a few strikes, but Magnus whips him off, lifting him up into the air and leaving him to fall like a pancake.
Clubbing right hand from Magnus, then throttles Sorensen on the middle rope. Magnus runs the ropes, dropping an elbow onto the back of the straddled Sorensen. Another pin, but a two count, and Magnus throws Sorensen outside to Williams again, who takes advantage.
Sorensen back in the ring, attempts a comeback, cut off by Magnus again. Bear hug from Magnus, momentarily interrupted by a few rights from Sorensen, but Magnus converts the bear hug into a vertical suplex, drilling Sorensen down, only for a two count.
Sleeper hold on Sorensen. Sorensen with elbows to get out of it, bounces off the ropes and attempts a crossbody, but Magnus catches him, walking close to the corner and slamming him down to the mat. Magnus with a corner-mount splash attempt misses. Sorensen kicks Magnus, runs off the ropes and lifts his knee into Magnus twice to send him down to the mat. Attempts an Irish whip, blocked by Magnus who whips him into the ropes. Magnus throws Sorensen up in the air again, this time grabbing the legs. Sorensen hits his head hard on the mat, and Magnus with a slingshot to the outside. Williams backs away this time, leaving it to Magnus, who puts Sorensen into the apron, then on to the apron. Magnus back in the ring, attempts a vertical suplex, but Sorensen gets a guillotine on him. Sorensen attempts a springboard, but slips and Magnus DDT’s him. Pin fall, two count.
Sorensen tossed into the corner, but gets the boots up. Williams comes in to help Magnus as Sorensen mounts the corner, but Sorensen delivers a high dropkick to him, and then Magnus. Sorensen again tried to go up top, but is pushed off the top rope by someone running in from the back, who then ducks behind the ring apron. Magnus with a Mag Daddy Driver, and it’s game over for Sorensen.
The camera cuts to Kid Kash, who pushed Sorensen off the top to allow Magnus to get the advantage.
Winner: Magnus via Pinfall.
