Borash and Taz run down the shows contents this week, and we’re straight to action.
Madison Rayne vs. Mickie James.
Madison takes her time getting prepared and taking her gloves off, to the frustration of Mickie. She proceeds to slap Mickie in the face with a glove, then attempts a clothesline, which is dodged, to start the match. Mickie goes to tie up, Madison with a go-behind. Micki reverses and paintbrushes Madison in the back of the head before throwing her down to the mat, then “spanking” Madison’s behind.
Arm bar from Madison is reversed with a cartwheel. Madison throws Mickie down by the hair, but Mickie springs back up, twice, then using Madison’s hair to her advantage, giving her the same treatment.
Side headlock from Mickie, into the ropes, Mickie with a strong shoulder to Madison. And a dropkick. Pin attempt, two count.
Kicks in the corner from Mickie, then whips Madison into the corner. Reversed. Madison runs at Mickie and gets an elbow. Mickie pulls herself up for a head scissors, Madison throws her legs to the apron. Madison with a neck breaker on the ropes and Mickie is down on the outside.
Madison drills Mickie into the apron from the outside, but has no effect, allowing Mickie to reciprocate. Madison remains in control however, throwing Mickie back into the ring for a pin attempt, but a very weak cover gets her a two count.
Mickie uses the ropes to get up, and Madison chokes her on the top one until referee Brian Hebner breaks it with the mandatory five-count. Madison with some shoulder blocks into the sternum of Mickie, then a bulldog using the hair from Madison. Another weak pin attempt gets two.
Madison again with the hair, picking up and slamming Mickie down, as Hebner just looks on. Madison wraps her legs around the shoulders of Mickie, then twisting and repeatedly slamming Mickie’s head into the mat with her legs. Madison has a moment of gloating with the referee, then coming back to Mickie cockily. Mickie gets a couple of strikes in, but Madison decks her with a forearm. A forearm battle ensues, ending with Madison whipping Mickie off to the corner, but Mickie steadies herself, kicking Madison as she gets closer, twice, and a double clothesline leaves both on the mat.
Madison is the first up, and another forearm battle, back and forth. Mickie this time comes out on top, slamming Madison’s head into the mat twice, before Madison gets a cheeky eye-rake in to stop the momentum. It doesn’t, however, and Mickie ducks a clothesline and gets a weak neckbreaker on. Pin attempt, two count only.
Madison grabs Mickie by the shorts, throwing her into the turnbuckle as they both rise. Madison runs in, head scissors and a hurricanrana from Mickie. Clotheslines and a flap jack from Mickie. Mickie goes to the top rope, blows a kiss to Hebner, then attempts an axe handle, but Madison moves, pulling Mickie down into a pin by holding the shorts. Hebner counts two, then sees the shorts being held, breaking the pin up. Madison argues with the referee as Mickie rolls Madison up with a schoolboy (which we’ll call a schoolgirl in this instance) and a two count. Madison delivers a swift kick to the head as she gets up again. Madison puts her knee to the face of Mickie, but Mickie kicks Madison in the gut, setting her up for the DDT, and hitting it for the win.
Winner: Mickie James via Pinfall.
