The Union Elks and the Elks Charities will once again team up for a benefit fundraiser with National Pro Wrestling Superstars on Friday night, Oct. 14 at 7:45 p.m. at the Union Elks Lodge, 281 Chestnut Street.
The main event will feature a pair of very familiar TV wrestling stars, as former WWE Intercontinental Champion and “cool” TV star Carlito takes on a current TNA/Impact Wrestling star who’s originally from right up the road in Elizabeth, but now is totally “Jersey Shore,” Robbie E.
In addition to the TV stars, four of the top tag-teams in wrestling will compete in Union, including hometown boys and NWS Tag-Team Champions The Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis & Chris D’Andrea), The 2 Rude Dudes (“Rampage” Rogers & “Corrupted” Corey Havoc), Team Casanovas (Damian Darling & 2011 J-Cup winner “The Love Machine” Nicky Oceans), and Too Hot And Dangerous (“Too Hot” Steve Scott & Nick Talent).
There will also be a “Crazy-8 Gauntlet Match” featuring Union’s own Steve “Gipper” Gipke, Kenilworth’s “Tuff” Tony Scorace, and six other wrestlers, where last two men standing will team up in another tag-team match that night. In addition there will be appearances by The Nigerian Nightmares, Hillbilly Justin Blackwell, Mister Nick Gregory, and more.
