Opening Segment
A video package of various TNA wrestlers talking about Jeff Hardy‘s “demons” played, followed by a video of how the Immortal vs. Ken Anderson/ Sting feud started.
Mister Anderson makes his way to the ring to start of this edition of iMPACT WRESTLING in Huntsville. He says he made a deal with the devils, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, and tells the fans to boo him. They comply, but he says he’s on the outside of Immortal looking in thanks to Bully Ray, and if they thought he was annoying before, he’s going to be a royal pain in their asses now because he’s coming after Kurt Angle tonight. Everybody forgot that he never cashed in his rematch and he’s going to do that tonight, but he knows Immortal are going to interfere so he’s got Sting to watch his back.
Sting makes his entrance while Mike Tenay makes reference to Mister Anderson’s TNA World Title Shot tonight. Sting makes reference about Immortal costing him his TNA Title match last week. Sting says he’s a fungus and while Hogan had the power last week, this week Sting has the power of the Network! Sting announces that he will be the special enforcer in Mister Anderson’s TNA Title Match tonight…oh and Ta-Ta…for now.
Coming later on tonight is the Knockout Champion Mickie James teaming with Velvet Sky to take on Winter and Angelina Love, and the return of Two-Time TNA Heavyweight Champion: Jeff Hardy.
((Jarrett’s Jab – I like how Hogan was nowhere near the opening segment and they kept it under ten minutes. For a company that prides themselves on their tag line, Wrestling Matters Here/Again, they have the perfect opportunity to show it to the world and Spike executives on these episodes of Impact Wrestling on the road, and they need to show that.))

A quick package plays showcasing the final four in the Bound for Glory Series. Bobby Roode vs. Gunner and James Storm vs. Bully Ray are the two semi-final matches for this Sunday’s No Surrender Pay-Per-View.
Bully Ray says before he says why Beer Money won’t win the BFG Series, he will give them a compliment. Ray says he is a Tag Team God, and if anyone knows a great tag team when they see it, it would be him. He says that Beer Money will go down as one of the greatest tag teams not just in TNA, but in the whole world. The bad news is that he knows what is going in Beer Money’s head and both of them want to win the BFG Series. Ray knows they both want to win the series and go on to win the title, but they won’t admit it to each other because tag teams never look at each other and wonder how successful they could be by themselves. Hawk, Animal, Rick, Scott, and even he did it. He says Gunner will do whatever it takes to help Ray the series and go on to win the World Title, but neither of them will do what’s right for each other because wrestlers are selfish and neither will turn down the women and money. He’s Bully Ray, he’s from New York City, and he’s the next World Champion.
Roode takes the microphone and says Ray is right that Beer Money will go down as one of the greatest teams of all time, but he and Storm have their eyes set on becoming the World Champion because it’s been both their dream since day one just like everyone in the back. Only one man can walk out of No Surrender as the challenger for the World Title, and he guarantees that whether it’s Storm or himself, they’ll both be there to share in the celebration because no matter what, nobody will ever come between them and nobody will ever kill Beer Money. Storm says he’s sorry about their damn luck, and we’ll see these guys face off in a four way match later tonight.
A quick video plays showing everyone who Eddie Alvarez is. ((Jarrett’s Jab – A great call because they certainly didn’t hype his appearance on-air, and not everyone knows who he is.))
Television Championship: Eric Young vs. Robbie E
Eddie Alvarez is on commentary for this match and hypes his fight. Right hands by EY leads to a big Irish Whip from Robbie E that knocks him on the apron. Suplex by Robbie E, but he gets caught when he covers with his foot on the rope. Another scoop slam by Robbie E before he goes up top and hits an elbow drop from the second rope. Robbie E tries to cover, but Earl Hebner won’t even count due to Robbie’s foot on the rope. The two argue, and Eric Young strips down to a white version of Robbie E’s tights. Several big clotheslines by EY and he goes up top to hit an elbow drop. EY hits the piledriver and covers for a three count.
Winner by Pinfall and STILL Television Champion: Eric Young
After the match Rob Terry comes in and destroys EY with a powerbomb, seemingly accepting Robbie E’s.
((Jarrett’s Jab – I love how this is going, rather than see EY in some lame comedy skits, he’s actually defending that red toy belt in a match. Robbie E gaining “Robbie T” as a bouncer can only be good for Robbie E in the long run. I also like how they didn’t completely ignore current reigning Bellator Fighting Championships Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez on commentary. That is a pet peeve of mine, if there is a special guest on commentary and he’s there for the whole match, they shouldn’t ignore him. And another pet peeve of mine is seeing the piledriver in a match. It might just be me, but I’d love to never see that move in another wrestling match. It is just too dangerous no matter how much practice a wrestler has with it))

RVD is shown coming into Jerry Lynn’s locker-room and he tells that Jerry screwed him, and what does he have to say for himself. Jerry says that it’s always been about RVD, he was the one that companies always gave contracts to, and Jerry is the one they call to put in the ring with RVD because they know it’ll be a good match. But they never give him a contract; he had to work in a warehouse for eight to ten hours a day. He asks Rob if he knows what that’s like. Lynn says that he is better than RVD and the rebuttal is a right hand and a kick to the abdomen. RVD stands over him and says it’s like it’s always been: RVD standing on top.
Backstage, Velvet Sky congratulates Mickie James on regaining the Knockouts Title and wonders what it would feel like around her waist. Velvet holds it there for a minute before Mickie tells her that that title could be hers someday. Karen Jarrett comes in for an inspection. She says it’s like a pig sty back there and can’t believe Mickie has her dog with her. Karen announces that Winter is getting her Knockout Championship rematch at No Surrender this Sunday. Turning her attention to Velvet, he tells her that Knockout Wrestling is about more than shaking her ass, and tells Velvet she better tear the roof off the place tonight and to lay off the cupcakes because her ass is getting too fat.

Jeff Hardy is shown entering the building as the match-up for the World Heavyweight Championship is about to start.
World Heavyweight Championship: Kurt Angle vs. Mister Anderson with Sting as the Special Enforcer
Tie-up leads to Anderson getting the advantage with a headlock. Angle gets Anderson to one knee to break the hold and gets Anderson into a takedown headlock. Anderson gets to his feet and uses the ropes to break the hold and hit a dropkick? Right hands in the corner by Anderson before Angle rakes the eyes, but before Angle could capitalize; Anderson hits a swinging neck breaker. Right hands again by Anderson and a hard Irish Whip in the corner gains Anderson a two count. Anderson tries it again and gets a boot to the head and a clothesline. Angle goes back to the headlock, but Anderson fights out and eats a high-knee for a two count. Angle goes back to the well with the side headlock, but Anderson uses the ropes to spring out and both competitors eat a clothesline from the other as referee Brian Hebner starts the ten count. Angle uses the ropes to get up at seven and the two competitors start a slugging clothesline. Anderson with running clotheslines and a Irish Whip leads to him walking right into a Belly-to-Belly suplex for two. Angle goes for the Angle Slam, but Anderson counters into the …. for two. Anderson goes for the Mic Check, but Angle fights out with elbows to the head and goes for the German Suplex Hat Trick and covers for two. Angle cinches in the Standing Ankle Lock, but Anderson rolls-through for two. Anderson hits the Mic Check, but Angle powers out at two and three quarters. Sting watches on from the outside as Anderson picks Angle up. Angle accidentally punches Hebner and Angle hits a low blow and an Angle Slam, but Sting pulls the referee out and tries to explain. Anderson hits the Mic Check and Gunner nails Anderson to end the match.
Winner by Disqualification: Mister Anderson.
Immortal storms out to attack Anderson and Sting. Angle gets shots in on both Anderson and Sting before the Immortal music blares and Angle holds up the Title to take us to commercial.
((Jarrett’s Jab – THIS is why I hate a lot of World Title matches on free TV, you know you are going to get a cheap ending. With the match starting this early, I was hoping for the best. I don’t see why they needed to have back-to-back defenses for Angle at the last two episodes of Impact Wrestling and not even announce who he is going to defend the championship against at this Sunday’s No Surrender Pay-Per-View, that people are paying to see.))
-Commercial Break-
Immortal is partying in their office as Eric Bischoff is trying to talk on the phone in the background. Eric yells for everyone to leave and he has a very important call. Jeff Jarrett complains that he was about to dance and calls Eric a party-pooper. Eric asks if this was a prank call and tells them no repeatedly in shock.
Knockout Champion Mickie James and Velvet Sky vs. Winter and Angelina Love
After some stalling, Mickie James and Angelina Love finally start the match with Angelina Love hitting several right hands before getting booted in the face. Hurricanrana by James and two clotheslines before Angelina hits a cheap shot and Velvet tags herself in. Velvet gets a cheapshot, but Winter gets tagged in and gets her face smashed against the turnbuckle for her trouble. Monkey Flip by Velvet leads to her taking Winter and Angelina out. Angelina hooks the leg so Winter can take advantage. Winter distracts the referee so Angelina can choke Velvet. Bridging Suplex by Winter gains her two before Winter tags in. Winter gets tagged in and Mickie gets the hot tag and clears house with a Lou Thez press from the top rope and a neck breaker for two. Angelina breaks up the count and Velvet stomps a mudhole in Angelina before Angelina and Winter get outsmarted with a “doesy-doe” clothesline by James and Velvet. Winter sprays the blood in the eyes in James and blinds her so she can cover for three.
Winners by Pinfall: Winter and Angelina Love
The Four Corners match between James Storm, Bobby Roode, Gunner and Bully Ray is still to come tonight.
((Jarrett’s Jab – Really not a fan of the “Blood” being used because it is so blatantly obvious that you’d have to be blind not to see it and death not to hear Mickie scream. Then again, Earl Hebner does referee all of the Knockout Matches.))
-Commercial Break-
Austin Aries tells the fans to show respect to Eric Bischoff’s favorite X Division Wrestler and the future X Division Champion. Aries calls Kendrick a hypocrite because he preaches of peace and code of ethics, but has ganged up on.
Kendrick comes out in a suit with a briefcase with shoes and talks about the side of Brian Kendrick that confirms to society. Aries says that it’s nice that his daddy let him borrow his suit, and Kendrick said he bought it himself. Kendrick starts to strip out of his clothing and shoes and talks about the first lesson of Buddha. He ask Aries if he understands, and Aries says he doesn’t. Aries also notes that he doesn’t know how many voices are in Kendrick’s head, but one of them better tell him that he’s nothing but a hypocrite, a phony, and afraid. Aries says that he’s shown the X Division belt no respect by throwing it on the mat and Kendrick says it’s nothing but a material object. Kendrick states that Aries should be happy that Kendrick is a peaceful man…before he starts attacking Aries. ((Jarrett’s Jab – I shouldn’t be agreeing with Aries as much as I did in this segment. Kendrick proved to the viewers to be everything Aries called him, especially a hypocrite. Also, I don’t know what rule Kendrick is referring to, but I’m governed by the “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service” rule.))
Hogan is bragging about solving the problem with Anderson and Sting. Bischoff says that the Network called him, and because of what they did, at No Surrender Kurt Angle has to defend the Title against Sting and Ken Anderson. Hogan says that it can’t get any worse.
((Jarrett’s Jab – Oh really, I heard they are giving Jeff Hardy an open mic tonight. I’m honestly surprised they didn’t make another Inside Joke by promoting that right after Hogan said it couldn’t get worse. In my personal opinion, it looks bad on TNA to announce their Main Event for a PPV 72 hours before it airs. And they have barely hyped this PPV at all. If they hyped it half as much as they have Jeff Hardy, then we would not get a card completely thrown together this far into the ballgame.))
-Commercial Break-
Jeff Hardy is shown walking backstage before the No Surrender card is hyped. Devon and The Pope get a shot at Mexican America’s Tag Team Championships, Samoa Joe goes one-on-one with the returning Matt Morgan. Winter gets her rematch for the Knockouts Championship against Mickie James. Austin Aries finally gets a one-on-one shot at Kendrick for his “Material Object”, a.k.a. The X-Division Championship. And finally, Kurt Angle defends the World Heavyweight Championship against the two men who have been screwed out of the belt the last two weeks: Ken Anderson and “The Insane Icon” Sting.
Four Corners Match: Bully Ray vs. Gunner vs. James Storm vs. Bobby Roode
Referee Jackson James is in the ring to ref this match-up. Samoa Joe comes to the ring, but Matt Morgan blasts him from behind and the two Immortal Members take a cheap shot at Beer Money to get an early advantage. Gunner chokes Storm in the corner while Ray stomps Roode. Storm starts to fight for control, but Ray starts connecting with bodyshots. Beer Money take out both Gunner and Ray with double clothesline and start to face each other before Ray gets a cheap shot. Gunner goes for a cover on Roode, but gets a two count. Ray directs traffic and hits a clothesline for two. Gunner seemed hesitant to break up the count, but didn’t. Storm comes off the top rope with a clothesline for a two count on Ray. Neckbreaker by Storm on Gunner gets him two before Ray gets another cheap shot. Roode tries to roll Ray up but only gets two. A top rope neckbreaker on Ray by Roode before Roode focuses on Gunner. Double-team suplex on Gunner before Beer Money does their chant. Turning around, both eat a clothsline by Ray and Roode covers Storm for two. Bubba Bomb by Ray on Storm gets two before Gunner throws Storm out, drills Ray, and covers him for three.
Winner by Pinfall: Gunner
Tenay hypes Jeff Hardy with an open mic, and that will happen right after the last commercial break!
-Commercial Break-
A vignette airs hyping the Ric Flair vs. Sting match for iMPACT WRESTLING next week, if Sting wins, he gets a match with Hulk Hogan, but if he loses he has to retire.
Jeff Hardy comes out to his old TNA music and soaks up the mixed reaction from the Huntsville crowd. Hardy thanks the crowd and says he doesn’t deserve the cheers. He thanks the Network for giving him an opportunity to talk for a minute. The last time he was in the TNA ring he was messed up and pathetic. Hardy said he had a PPV match with a man he’s looked up to his entire career and blew it. HE says that so many people in the back are mad and they have every right to be. He can’t change what happened at Victory Road, but he can admit that that night he hit rock bottom. The crowd starts cheering as Hardy takes a quick break to wipe his eyes. A Hardy chant starts as he starts to talk. He says he can’t expect the fans to give him another chance, or the wrestlers in the back, but all he can do is ask the fans to give him one more shot. The crowd starts chanting “One More Shot” and Hardy says all he can do is ask before he drops the mic and sits on the apron. The crowd starts chanting “One More Shot” as we cut to black.
((Jarrett’s Jab – Trying to look at this as unbiased as I can, I appreciate that Hardy had the guts to come out in front of the crowd and admit he doesn’t deserve a second chance. Quite frankly he doesn’t. If you look at it, he’s asking for a third stint in TNA, and this would be his fifth stint in a major professional wrestling organization in his career. In case you don’t remember what he’s referring to, it is when he came out clearly unable to compete at TNA’s Victory Road PPV and Eric Bischoff called a finish on the fly which involved Hardy taking Sting’s finisher and the fans paying to see a two minute main event with maybe three wrestling maneuvers.
I honestly do hope that he has cleaned himself up. He’s got a wife and a little girl at home, earlier today he pleaded guilty of three drug-related felonies in the state of North Carolina, fined 100,000 dollars, sentenced to ten days of jail, and placed on two years of probation. For not only his sake, but his family, and the TNA Wrestling organization I hope Hardy does clean his life up, because if not, I think it is safe to assume he isn’t going to receive a sixth stint in TNA or in the WWE.
Be sure to catch TNA’s Pay-Per-View No Surrender, this Sunday and stay tuned to TNAStars.com for all the latest Updates and follow us on Twitter at @IWHeadlines.))
